my best cousin has a baby and she 14.my family does not want me to be around her but i love her and my godchild.but i only see them 1 every 12 times a year. if i was your child would you do this to me

About four mothes ago i donated blood and i had a little reaction to it i was a little dizzy and i was a little pale and then i got a letter in the mail saying that there was something wrong with my blood and i would have to wait a year to donate again, so there was a blood drive today and i was going to go with one of friends and i was going to ask the people there and see when i can donate again so i was at work and it would over by the time i got out of work so i had my friend go over there and talk to the people for me and he came back and said that i could donate and he told them how i got a letter in the mail saing that i had to wait a year and so he told the people my name and they said that they lost all there files and said that i can donate and they will start all over so then i called my mom and asked her if i could donate and she said no because what happend last time. In the frist place i was not going to ask and iam18 and i want to go should i just go next time or ask?

I have been in and out of the hospital B/C of my tonsils and adnoids for the past 2 months, and got them all taken a few days ago. Well, we have been TTC for 2 years (except this month before the surgery) and will ovulate in the next couple days. My husband thinks that the painkillers will hurt the baby if we do conceive. For the first throat surgeryI was on morphine, and dilauded. For surgery #2I was under general anestisia, percocet and oxycontin. However I take only tylenol now. (cuz every thing else made me YAK, painful!!!)
So even tho I am on nothing now, can the risidual in my system hurt my maybe-baby?

When you ask him to spell something out loud he can, but when it's in a book or a flash card he cannot read it. We work with him everyday on spelling words, as he has a test each week, and reading. We have bought him the Leapfrog laptop, doesnt like- the learning movies- likes but still having problems, and computer programs- doesnt really care for.

He goes every other week to his mother's house, and the problem is he forgets everything that he learns while he is at home because his mom does not help him. She would rather set him down in front of the video games and let him play. For his spelling words, she hands him the list and has him memorize them. In my opinion he is not learning anything by this. She really does not care and we have no clue what to do next. Is there something else that we can do? Should we consider a tutor at this point?

Any input would be appreciated.

I'm expecting my first child in early June, and it's a boy! I'm not yet married to the baby's father, but we do plan on marrying evenutally (we've been together 7 years). I'm the youngest of 2 daughters and the only one who ever wanted children. Since I have no brothers, I want my son to carry on my last name, and no, it's not a common name like Smith or Jones. My fiancee is ok with this idea since he has 2 other brothers and 2 other sisters. Their last name will def. be able to live on. One of his sisters just found out today about the baby's last name and is upset about it. I tried to explain to her that it means a lot to my family and me to give this child my last name, but she's still upset. Am I being selfish with this? I think her parents will respond in the same manner. Just because my son will have my last name doesn't make him any less a part of their family, but I'm sure they won't see it that way. Should I consider hyphenating our last names or something along those lines???

Wow I can't believe I'm going to say this, I hope I don't sound like a loser but, this guy is going to ask me out and I don't know what I would say back. I don't want to say the normal, yes or say a complicated answer and drag one and one and one.... What did you say when someone asked you out?
Ohh... he is going to ask me out to the valentines dance at my school in 2 weeks.
I also need comebacks to some mean boys that repeat what I'm saying like, I say be quiet and they repeat it, I'll say your a dumba*s and they'll repeat it. I need some comebacks for that too...... normally I'm really good at comebacks, like really good, but I don't have any for these situations

The first day of my last period was Jan 4th. There are usually 30 to 35 day cycle periods.My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on the 14 [at which point he came on me] and on the 28th [at which point he came inside me]. For the past couple of days I have been getting what feels like period cramps. My boobs are also swollen and very painful. ive also noticed that i can smell and taste things alot more clearly, and some foods just dont taste right. also, backaches, headaches and dizzy/light-headedness have been on and off problems.
could i be pregnant, or is it just early period signs?

I am 20 years old and 28 weeks pregnant. I havent actually come to this problem yet but I wanted to get some advice on what I should do when the time comes..but heres my situation.I have no problem pumping breast milk into a bottle and letting my baby drink it that way. Its not just that I dont like the idea, I also want my fiancee to be able to feed the baby and we will be traveling alot so i thought bottle feeding would be more reasonable. So my question is, is it better to pump the milk and feed it to your baby in a bottle or just to go with formula? I know breast milk is better for the baby but do you think its horrible to not breast feed? Any advice would be great..Im new at all of this!!

I am 29wks pregnant. Both my family and my partners family are eagerly anticipating the arrival of this child, our first, and the first grandchild on both sides. My only problem is my partners sister. She is jealous of this child because everyone "pays to much attention to it". She doesn't "approve" of baby and she thinks baby is a mistake. She is a negative depressive person and i've strongly tried to encourage therapy because she really does need it. If i had to guess i would say she is depressed with self esteem issues.

Anyway - i don't want her near my baby when baby is born. Maybe if we are there but i don't EVER want her to be left alone with baby. I really do think she is capable of doing something to baby purely out of jealously. How can this be told to my partners parents. They will want to look after baby for an hour here or there - how can i tell them it is on the condition they can't ever leave my child alone with their daughter - no compromise?

p.s - the sister is 27
