can I relieve this? what is causing this? It cant be stretching skin cuz I had no itch all day, then poof! At night Im itching like made. I bathedand creamed....then showered and creamed....could it be something i ate? allergies coming out of my skin? Im soooo itchy!!!! How can I relieve this? Is this even pregnancy related??

Here's the situation: I'm 3 weeks 'late' and have been getting a few symptoms of early stages of pregnancy. I know the only way to find out for sure is to test, which I will be doing this Friday. I'd do it sooner but I promised my partner I'd wait for him.
Anyway...
Before the possibility of pregnancy arised (it's not been a planned thing), I had been smoking, drinking and even dabbled in a few other substances. I know the risks associated with that and I've not done anything since knowing that there's a chance that a child is involved so please don't lecture me on that one.
I also don't plan on carrying on with any of the previously mentioned if I am pregnant/after the possible pregnancy.

My question is... How can a baby be affected by the intake (although very small amounts) of cocaine/ketamine? I only took part on 1 or 2 occassions.

Yes, I'm seeing a doctor ASAP but I was just wondering if anyone knew the effects of drugs on unborn children?

Please, no lecturing!

I just found out today that I am expecting. I am so excited but worried that I may have hurt my baby because I was smoking and have drank a few times before I knew. I won't smoke anymore or drink, but I know first trimester very important and it's my first so at higher risk to misscarry. Anyone have advice or similar situation happen? I want a healthy baby and am scared I hurt them before I even knew about them.

we have 2 children 2 boys ages 4 and 2 and i am pregnant with my third it would be nice to have a girl but if it is a boy i will still be happy but dont know if i will want to try again for a girl in a few years time my partner would like the snip but only if him and i agree 100% should we wait until we find out the sex of this third baby before we make any major choices thanks and be nice to me plz

what kind/how much financial help we could get.I know you can call or go on some website (OFSTED, and others) but I was wondering if someone from past experience could give me a rough idea?
We are both working full time and earning the average salary (£49k salary combined), living in central London.
I went to a local crèche the other and was told to expect to pay £700.00 per month to have the baby looked after Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
I am just wondering how we would afford this …

I am 36.5 weeks pregnant with my second child. Monday night I was overwhelmed with a burst of energy to re-clean the house, re-arrange my child's bedroom and finish packing my bags for the birthing center. Later that night I began to feel slight contractions that were too irregular to note to my midwife. So after awhile of tossing and turning, I fell asleep and woke up feeling fine, the contractons had stopped. Tuesday went smoothly, I still had a bit of the energy left so I finished all the daily chores as usual. Then last night around eight o'clock the contractions started and that time they were more painful, but still irregular. I went to bed around 10pm and awoke around 2am to contractions and a backache. I've been up ever since. Still having contractions, they're even more painful and they're finally starting to keep. I've been timing them and they're about every 7 minutes, however, I've only been timing them for about a half hour. What do you think is going on??

i need some baby boy names (as i want a boy).
I have hundreds of girl names but cant think of any boy names.
I dont want anything to far out there, i like the names to be slightly non common but not way too different.
So i need names and meanings, this will be my forth and last so if theres a name to match that then great.

Me and my grandmother came to a disagreement about something. She dosn't like the fact that I stay on the computer for long hours. See, I have a sleeping problem, everytime I go to sleep I wake back up in the middle of the night and then can't be able to sleep again. Not only that I'm being home schooled. She says that its very not right for me to wake up at 3:00 in the morning, and stay on till 6:00 or 7:00 but it's not my fault that I can't sleep.

I don't think she trusts me. Maybe she thinks I'm looking at porn, but I'm not. All I'm doing is reading stories or listning to music. I know I should be sleep, and I know it isn't right, but what can I do? What do you think?

Throughout my 3rd pregnancy my measurements were ALWAYS bigger than my dates
The hospital kept saying that I was having an average size baby and not to worry- I knew this baby was larger than my 2nd as the movements I was feeling were stronger and I just had a gut feeling!
My daughter weighed in @ 9lb 15oz- so you could understand my concerns about my awaiting arrival!!
Eventually I gave birth to my son 2 WEEKS EARLY and my 'average' size baby weighed 10lb 12oz!!!!

I miss my period.. its already a month late..but pregnancy test said negative..i only tried one..the only signs im having is that i lost about 15pounds..without eating less or exercises..latelly tired but i do stay up late..like 3am sleepabout 8 or 9 hours then go do daily things but now im late..and sleeping 13 hours on saturday or sunday..no other signs im confuse should i go to the doctor is losing weight a sign of being pregnant
