We got married in a little country church in Hampshire and my wife drove us in a carriage pulled by her horse to the reception.
We then had our first night in a very special hotel called "The String of Horses" in the New Forest before going to a villa holiday on the Greek island of Paxos.
The most fantastic few weeks.......but they went so quickly !

I think that I would like to go on a cruise (ship). Maybe to the Catalina islands 9because I named my daughter that before I knew that the islands existed, and I would think that it would be cool to go there just to see what they are like). I have also thought about New york, Bahamas, and Hawaii (although very common for a honeymoon vacation). I kinda want to go somewhere very uncommon and significant. I think that would be pretty cool.

We were married in St Lucia and had the most fantastic honeymoon there. We met so many friends and were treated like royalty. This was in 1994 and there was no conveyor belt weddings like they can be these days. Happy and care free. xxx

I would love to stay at 'La Residencia' in Deia, Mallorca - it is absolutely stunning - come to think of it, I would love to get married at the church in Deia too! It is a beautiful little village set into the mountains, there is also a pretty little beach in a bay at the foot of the village.

We went to Paphos in Cyprus in 2004.
It was beautiful and relaxing, which after the stress of organising the whole wedding, was perfect.
