Any soft, unpasteurized cheese can potentially be harmful during pregnancy. Brie, feta, Camembert and goat's cheese should all be avoided. They may contain a bacteria called Listeria that can be very dangerous for the unborn baby. Not a chance I'd want to take! By the way, this bacteria can also be found in ready to eat meats like hot dogs and deli meats.

No ...And No You must now not use aspirin until directed through your gynecologist. Better to stay very good hydrated, use TED stockings, and continually move your feet. That will have to support you restrict the blood clot. Until you may have a clotting sickness, then you definately should obviously check with ur doc, cuz being pregnant truely raises that clotting chance. Feta cheese and different gentle cheeses are in general advised against for the duration of pregnancy, it's as a result of meals poisoning hazard. Tough cheeses are ok, although. RU going to Greece? The whole listeria concern is new and rather stupid if you ask me. It is a new concern for pregnant women. I had a baby in 2000 and in 2003 and was never told to avoid lunch meat and soft cheese. Now suddenly I'm told to avoid it because of possible listeria? Then that means I should avoid fresh fruits and veggies as well in case of e. coli.
It won't be long before pregnant women are only allowed to have a pill and no food at all. I've continued to eat lunch meat and feta cheese. I don't eat it a lot but I'm not going to let it worry me. It just isn't logical. Everything has a potential to be harmful and we can't live our lives in bubbles.
