Some reasons why a female misses her menstrual period are because of: (1) irregular menstrual cycle; (2) anaemia; and (3) pregnancy. What ever may be the cause of your problem, it would be better if you consult a medical practitioner to seek professional advice and opinion. The result of your timely consultation with a legitimate doctor may not only be for your own good but also for that God-given "little angel" in there (if ever) and to your family too. Remember the saying, "Prevention is better than cure." Your missing a period may be a symptom of an oncoming serious illness that can be cured easily if detected early. Don't waste your time, consult a doctor immediately! God Bless..

It doesn't sound like you're pregnant. You normally gain weight when you're pregnant and sleep a lot (not only on saturdays or sundays). It sounds to me like you've been a little stressed... you've been loosing weight and the only time you sleep is during the week-end (when you're not stressed, maybe from work/school, etc?). But if you have a doubt that you might be pregnant, you can either take another test or go the a clinic and have them test you.

Losing wait and being late for your period says one thing to me, and I know cause Ive been there, Your body's freakin out! Your stressed out, huh? Relationship issues? Bills to pay? Job deadlines? School stress? Bad hair day?(no, seriously) When you start stressin', your body responds to that, and that of course takes A LOT of energy or "fuel". Speeds up metabolism, to some people stress is an appetite suppressant, some not so much. Also, high levels of stress will cause you to miss your period. I was 3 months late, I finally got one, my husband lost his job so I became responsible for all bills, feeding 3 other people, taking care of a new baby, and working extra shifts to make ends meet. My doctor suggested it was stress on mine. Try to chill. Get rest on a normal sleep schedule that compliment your daily routine. Chill. Rest. Eat Well. Be Happy.

Im Sorry but it doesnt sound to me like your pregnant, i think you may have another problem with your health, maybe like anemia, diabetes etc. If you go to the doctors he will more than likley be able to do a pregnancy test, while he is testing for other problems.

I think you shouldnt panic, but make an appointment and explain your situation to him, the weight loss is more than likley affecting your periods, along with stress of worrying.

Good Luck and Try not to worry.

I don't think you're pregnant. Your period could be missed because of your weight loss. I definitely would go to the doctor and see why you are losing weight and being so tired.

if you took one test and it came out negative, I would go to the pregnancy resouce center near you. Usually they give free tests and they are very acurate. If that one comes out negative, trya gain later. More than likely you are not pregnant.
