Excedrin While Breastfeeding

You should not take excedrin while breast feeding. Excedrin contains aspirin which is known to be harmful for infants. It also contains a high amount of caffeine, which is thought to cause problems with infants as well. Your best bet is going to be tylenol. No. Children under 18 should not have aspirin (which is found in Excedrin) b/c it can cause Rhyes Syndrome which can be fatal. Some aspirin will be transferred into your breastmilk, so it is best to stick w/ Tylenol.

No. The Tylenol and caffeine are OK, but not the aspirin. Do you have a headache because you're dehydrated? That happens to me a lot, and caffeine will only make it worse. Take care.

I do not think so, because what ever you eat effects your baby. Tylenol is the best medicine that you can take. You should asks the pediatrician just too make sure...

I would say no because giving a baby asprin could be very dangerous because it could cause Reyes disease. If you have a headache take tylenol.
