No, you want your child to make more than just a "cameo" in life. Choose a name that is strong and can get them somewhere. Cameron would be a strong name for boy or girl otherwise Caleb for a boy or Cassandra or Carissa for a girl. Think about what it would be like to call another adult that name. I know a woman who just named her son Apallo. Now it may be just me, but I dont think I could call my boss or peer Apallo without laughing.
But then again it's your child you do what you want.

cameo sounds like camero, which is a car that isn't exactly the greatest lol (this is how i reason things)
i like cameron better. for a girl it's reallyyyyy cute. for a guy it's cute but a little more over used. i know a cameron and he's hot haha. just thought i'd let you know!!

I love the name cameo....we are going to name our daughter Kameo..havent decided on a middle name yet,but I like kameo rayne or kameo pandora,kameo tristan......i just love this name!
