She does not enjoy sex and someone told me that the pill can make women not want sex at all. She likes being on the pill for the predictability. What medical reason can I tell her to get off the pilI? I am willing to have a vasectomy.

I am 17 weeks PG with my first baby. Yippee! I felt the first flutters when I was 14w 6d, and felt them about 3 or 4 times during that week. I am now 17 weeks and haven't felt the baby move in over a week. This is my first PG, so I dont' really know what to expect, but I thought that once I started feeling the flutters, they wouldn't stop. It's making me nervous, but I'm trying to convince myself that it's just because the baby isn't in the right position for me to feel him/her move anymore. Has anybody else experienced this? I have a dr. appt on Tuesday, so I'll find out for sure if everything's OK, but I just wanted to get some opinions from other moms.

Thanks!

I'm not asking for myself i already am 12 weeks pregnant its for my younger cousin. She is 17 and married but her husband doesn't produce sperm and she was wondering if you could get invitro at the age of 18. Now please don't go saying they are too young because believe me everyone has told her that. AND i would rather her do it this way then go out and sleep with a random guy that has some weird std. All answers are greatly appreciated.

i have two children that are complete opposits! i have a great little boy that is 5 years old he is sweet, kind, thoughtful. then i have my daughter that is 6 and she thinks that the world should revolve around her and if it does not there is trouble to pay! she either throws fits, hits people or dose things and blames them on her brother. she lies and wants to dress like a 15 year old girl wear make up and so on. we have a stable home mother and father no marriage problems. do you think it is the only child syndrome where she thinks that she should have been an only child????

My friend started giving her baby cereal in a special bottle made for cereal feedings when she was just a couple weeks old. Just curious if this is considered healthy, because I thought I heard that cereal is supposed to be introduced much later.

Hi!
I use Dr. borwn's nipples and my baby is on level 1...he is 4 months old...I was going to switch him to level 2. I do see that the milk doesnt flow evenly from the nipple and sometimes doesnt even come out....I am wondering if the nipples are worn out? The baby isnt even having much milk these days and I am wiondering if it's the nipples or the formula that I recently switched? Any clues? Should the milk be falling evenly in drops? How often should we replace nipples in general? And what are the usual signs of nipples being worn out?

my son is over 1 and i am trying to wean him, but i have so much of a milk supply that i think it would be hard to wean him without helping my body along. i just want to know if anyone thinks its ok to start with the cabbage leaves before he is fully weaned. we nurse in the morning, before naptime (one nap) and before bedtime. and lately in the middle of the night, since he hasnt been sleeping through. but he does eat solids quite well and we have been starting him on milk and he seems to be just fine with that.
anyhow, any suggestions would be welcome, too.
thanks

I recently started him on NAN 1 in India as I am visiting for a long time and could not carry a lot of Enfamil with me. He was on Enfamil Gentleease for a long time. For 3-4 days he was drinking Nan properly....but from past 2 days he fusses everytime I give him the bottle and doesnt have more than 2-3 ounces in one feeding. He used tro hav definitely 4 before. I also give him Dr. brown bottles....and am going to get the level 2 nipples...do you think he might be getting too tired witrh level 1 nipples and giving up? he is otherwise playful and smiling...so no signs of illness. Please help!

Also, does anyone know if Enfamil is available in India and where?

THANK YOU.

I have read a few articles about adopted and fostered children being taken away because the family was vegetarian. Does anyone know if this is really true?
