Based on my answers received from my previous question about my fertility yesterday will u plz answer how long does the egg live and how long does it take sperm to reach it?

My 16 month old seems to be showing intrest in the potty. My other 2 were at least 2 before they even became aware of their bodily functions. She walks up to me and says poo poo after she goes but she doesn't want me to change her. When I'm in the bathroom and flush she says bye bye pee pee and waves as it goes down. Should I get her a potty or is she too young? She still hates to be changed and doesn't mind being wet at all.

i havent gotten my period for 2 months due to a thyroid problem. is it possible to become pregnant if ive had intercourse for the past 2 months but no period? thanks for all your help!!!

My son is nine months old and ready for finger foods. What can I give him? (Ideas I already have : sliced banana, cereal, toast, crackers, cookies) Many people have already suggested chopped up fruits. What kind of fruits are good for a child his age? Also, what about vegetables, are they good for finger foods? If so, what kind of vegetables are good for a child his age?

(Note: I currently cannot ask my ped. Well, I could, but she is three hours away and probably wouldn't suggest anything over the phone. We just moved and are having diffulites with changing his dr. because of medicaid.)

im expecting my first baby, me and my partner are working full time, how to tax credits work and what, if any, do i get? Also if i decided not to come back to work straight away will i be intitled to any benifits? as we cant live on my partners wage alone but i dont want to pay someone else to bring up my baby.

my daughter is 2 and a half, usually a very well-behaved child, but lately she seems to be doing things specifically to get time-outs, I give her a warning, she does it again, and when I go to put her in time-out, she says "no time out mommy, I sorry, I say sorry!" What do I do? I've still been giving the time outs to be consistent, but is that right? And any advice to stop this testing of me? Thanks

My mother in-law keeps on bugging me to put my 8 month old on soya milk.....but really i just dont feel right doing it......he has been sick so much in the past that she thinks its because he is allergic to his formula....but me as his mother i think its just him getting sick....every kid gets sick.....do u think that its too early to start him on soya milk or should i wait till he older?

I'm TTC 3 months now and I'm going crazy!!!!!!! I swear I am this time, I can just feel it! Ive been sick 2 1/2 weeks, my breasts are sore, and my period is 4 days late. My son is supposed to have treatments 4 times a day. His face is too small for the pediatric mask they gave me and I was told to "make it work" by the hospital. I have a two year old who fears no evil, and has had more injuries that a professional boxer. As I type he has a black eye, and a bruised cheek, the sitter says he ran into a glass table at her house. Two months ago he got two stiches in the middle of his forehead becuse he nose-dived off the back steps. I have three other children and haven't had near the problems I'm having with my lil' Evil Keneival. Short of putting him in a padded room with a helmet, what can I do to keep him whole and safe? ( My house is as childproofed as possible, please understand that this child will fall just walking. He's completely graceless and runs into walls for Christ's sake, I've seriously pondered mental incapacity, or vision problems, he's checked out with the pediatrician and the optometrist, so he's perfectly healthy otherwise.) I do worry for my own mental stability if he keeps it up though!!

My daughter is 4 1/2 months. She won't stay in her activity things long at all. She has a rainforest playmat, that will last about 5 mins. Her bouncer she will sit in for about 10 mins now but can't get her to bounce in it, she just kicks her feet in it. And I've tried almost every-other-day to get her to jump in her jumperoo. I don't know what to do, she has all these activity centers but seems to hate all of them. She can stand about a minute against the couch unasissted and can hold her head up fine. I just can't seem to get her to bounce or jump in these things. Help!

I am 9 wks pregnant. I have been to the drs today with tenderness on my right side going through to my back. The dr wanted to rule out ectopic pregnancy so she gave me an internl examination. She is satisfied that its unlikely to be an ectopic but said theres a possibility that I have a pregnancy related cyst. I now have an appt to go to an early pregnancy unit in 2 days for an early scan. Has anyone experienced this tenderness in early pregnancy and its turned out to be nothing to worry about? or has anyone had a pregnancy related cyst, if so what were the symptoms and treatment? Any answers are appreciated as Im quite anxious! Thanks.

the girl i am babysitting (parents) called the day before yesterday and said they didnt need me to babysit yesterday and they didnt call me yesterday to tell me wehter or not they need me today. they didnt show up or call today either. i have only wathced her 2 times and the are very unorganized and immature about being resoposible. i dont want to call them because i am tired of dealing with their stupidity, for example i asked the mother to get me a copy of her work schedule so i would know when to baby sit but she still, after a week, hasnt given it too me. the mom and dad cannot give me an estimated time to get her either, should i assume they dont want me to watch her or should i do somthing about it?

Two to three hours later my stomachs growling again. I'm only 6 weeks(maybe 10) My LMP was only 2 days long. I'll find out for sure next week. Anyway, I just seem to always be hungry. I've already gained 5-8lbs. This is my third pregnancy, and I don't remember being this ravenous with my other two. I know I shouldn't be gaining already, but I can't help it. I'm so hungry, and it makes me feel better, even if temporarily. Has anyone else gone through this?

my temp. went up on monday so does that mean I already ovulated or still am? and is it the days right before the temp. rise that are the most fertile, what about after the temp rise? the ovulation calander says i was fertile tues-fri. so would that mean my temp. should have risen on fri? just trying to pin point when the best days are compared to my temp rising.

On the news, a moment ago, parents and daughter kicked off of plane, because daughter is throwing a fit and screaming. The parents think its the air lines fault. Do you think that these parents are doing more harm than good with this? When are parents going to take responsibility for their children. What do you think this child will be like as a teenager?
