the girl i am babysitting (parents) called the day before yesterday and said they didnt need me to babysit yesterday and they didnt call me yesterday to tell me wehter or not they need me today. they didnt show up or call today either. i have only wathced her 2 times and the are very unorganized and immature about being resoposible. i dont want to call them because i am tired of dealing with their stupidity, for example i asked the mother to get me a copy of her work schedule so i would know when to baby sit but she still, after a week, hasnt given it too me. the mom and dad cannot give me an estimated time to get her either, should i assume they dont want me to watch her or should i do somthing about it?

No, you've done your part.
You've pointed out they are immature, and unfortunately, this also means they don't know how to be straight with you, saying they do not require your service.
You do not want to work for people like this. Don't stress yourself out with this situation. They don't seem too worried on their end.

If they were to take their child to a daycare they would not only have to provide a schedule, they would only be allowed certain times, and would pay in advance. Tell them that you will only accept payments in advance and will not sit for them unless they give you 24 hour notice of time needed. They will either shape up or move on. If they move on, then you'll know they weren't worth you time, and you've probably saved yourself a lot of headache.
If that doesn't work, I refer you to "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle". Babysitting is not all it's cracked up to be.

If they are that irresponsible and unorganized like you describe, chances are they aren't intentionally blowing you off. You've probably wound up in their "to do" list somewhere and they haven't gotten around to it yet. If you are really unhappy and frustrated with working for them then I'd blow THEM off. I'm sure there are tons of other babysitting jobs out there. Good luck!

I would write them off - chances are they'll call you last minuet when they REALLY need a sitter. At that time I would let them know that you don't feel comfortable working with them after the way they treated you this time around.
Babysitting is hard enough - you shouldn't have to keep up with the parents too!

Just ask them if they need your services anymore or should you start looking for someone else to babysit. Maybe be more constistant about asking for the schedule.
