Pregnancy & Parenting - 22 January 2007

Okay so my husband and I have been trying to get prego and its not happening. I have Polyscitic ovairan syndrom and I just feel like its never going to happen for us. We both want a baby so bad. My husband is ok no problems on his part.

Right now I am 50 mg of clomid this is my first try and I have also been put on Metformin.

Please let me know if anybody has any tips or words of advise. I am starting to lose hope

my last menstrual period was 6/7/06 and doc said i would be due the 11th of april 07 but ultrasound said i was due 9th may 07 which date should i go on as they arent close together

His name is Taylor and he's basically a good kid but like all teengers (especially boys) he gets a little big for his britches sometimes and needs to be taken down a peg or two. For instance, in this case he directly disobeyed his father and I and posted on a message board. We let him use the Internet but chat rooms, IM and message boards are off limits.

Nevertheless, I'm willing to overlook that because this seems like a nice venue. In fact, I was rather pleased to find that roughly half of the respondents to his question did not believe he was too old to be spanked. I would not have expected that on the liberal Internet. His question here suggested he was embarrassed to get spanked bare bottom. I have always told him if he doesn't want to get spanked bare bottom like a child then he should obey the rules and act his age. Seems like a no-brainer to me. The fact that he's embarrassed by it is probably why it works. Only constructive comments welcome.

I have had my membranes stripped twice, reason is my last child was 9 lbs 8 oz. didn't want another huge baby and military will let you go over 2 weeks. Did that and itsn't fun. I want my last pregnancy to be a good memory. So In saying that my stomach keeps hurting, even worse when I lay down. Anyone experienced this before.. Been going on for about 5 days on and off.

I am currently breastfeeding my 2 month old, but what happens in time of an emergency and I am out and about, but cannot nurse him? I have a few brands of formula at home that were sent free in the mail, but I don't know what to use. I, myself have very bad allergies and an allergy to milk products. I think he may be getting some of my allergies. Should I just automatically use soy or hypoallergenic based or just use a regular formula?

I had to go get ultrasounds two weeks in a row b/c I have a cyst on my ovary and they wanted to make sure it didn't grow. My first u/s showed that I was 5weeks an 6 days. The next weeks the doctor measured me at 6 weeks 1 day. the doctor says that happens sometimes but I am nervous b/c I've had a miscarriage before and the baby stopped growing. Has anyone had this happen or know why it was like that? Any answers would be a great help

I have no interest in sex, literally none. I have 3 kids ranging in age from 11mos to 5 years. Sex feels like another to-do. It;s not that I am not attracted to my husband, it's just that I am so tired. By the time the evening roles around, the last thing I want is somebody else crawling all over me. I just want to sleep.

If by some miracle we are able to be intimate, one of the kids almost always wakes up, comes looking for us (this would be an older child seeking us, while the baby naps), etc... I can't go from being sexy to mommy then back again. Once there is an interuption, I am done.

With the previous babies our sex life was back on track by now. I am not sure what's going on this time. Any thoughts?

His parents found the pregnancy test in their trashcan and of course it is positive and they know about everything! Me and my boyfriend are 13 and in 8th grade and I have no idea what to do! I didn't think I was pregnant but now I know I am and my life feels worthless now. My boyfriend suggests kicking my stomach so my parents would never have to know but I told him no because his parents already know and that would be worthless and I don't want to kill a 2 month old baby!!! He still is going out w/ me and all but I have no idea what to do because his parents aren't going to make it easy on me and just tell my parents! they're making me tell him! HELP!?

babys head still moves up. I would think more than once, but would like some opinions.
My wife seems to think having sex 1 time per month will get her pregnant.

I think we need to be having sex at least 5 to 6 times a month.

My daughter is now 12 1/2 months old and though she can sit unaided, she cannot walk, crawl or bottom shuffle. She can stand if you hold on to her, but can not pull to stand. The doctor has sent her for a barrage of blood work (which takes four weeks) to rule out a genetic or metabolic disorder. I don't encounter anyone with a baby her age who is at her level, I worry that she may be like this for life.

I'm trying to conceive and I have Poly-Cystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). I was diagnosed with it around 15-16, and I'm 28 now. Also, I have lost some weight recently (20+ pounds), and I'm hoping that will help. Does anyone here have it, and if so, were you able to conceive?

I'm asking those women (or men if you want to answer) who stay at home and work (either just raising kids or employed from home) if they find it difficult to 'get ready' when you know you're not leaving the house. Now I'm not talking about being a dirty slob -(I do shower and brush my teeth) :P I'm just talking about dressing nicely and applying your make up and spending a lot of time on your hair. I'm 30, married and have 2 kids. I work from my home while my kids are at school. I don't know if I'm in a 'slump' of just not feeling like it, or if it's just part of being an adult and realizing the importance of everything else and knowing that makeup and hair don't always make the cut, lol.

I am pregnant and in the middle of a divorce, my soon to be ex husband has not been in the picture at all during the pregnancy except he made it to one sonogram. The last time we spoke he was extremely negative and angry for no reason. He calls out of the blue wanting to know when the baby is due ( two weeks) and wants to be present at the birth. My boyfriend cheats on me, and I let him get away with it.. I don't know why, but I do.. I'm having a baby next month. I feel so stuck with him, I caught him Friday with another girl, and he lied his way out of it, and I'm still with him.. Its almost like I'm scared to leave him for good. I am just too naive..
