Every child is different, clothes sizes dont mean much anyway, depends on the make of the clothes. I have 4 yr. old twin girls and one wears 3Ts and 4-4Ts (which are still a little long) and the other wears 5's and some 6's depending on what it is and how its made. The only difference between the two is 3lbs., one is just taller and lanky and the other is average height.

My 3 year old twins are currently wearing 4T and 5T in pants. Shirts are a 4T. Their little sister turned 2 in October and she really needs 18 month waist and 3T legs. She literally still wears 18 month high waters because her waist is tiny. the twins wear size 12 and 13 in shoes. I've just decided my kids are just beautiful freaks of nature or something.

My son is 2-1/2 and is wearing a 3T on the bottom...soon to be a 4T as they are getting a little tight...and a 4T or 5T on teh top. He is tall. He is also wearing a size 7 or 8 shoe. There doesn't seem to be a consistancy in the sizes in different stores

I pretty much agree with everyone else...All kids are different and all brands are different.
My daughter who just turned 3 in Dec. Is wearing size 4/5 xsmall in Girls clothes (Not Toddler)
I LOVE IT: now I can dress her in all of the wonderful trendy clothes that are not available in the Toddler section:)
Don't worry, my daughter is in the 95% for her age group she is about 41 inches tall and weights 34 lbs. When you go the the ped. they will weigh and measure her, they will give you a percentage for her height and weight, my daughter is 95% in both... But you can be different. The only time to worry is if your child is out of proportion say; the 95% in the weight but only 75% in the height (which means only 5% of children her age are taller and 25% of children her age weight more) This would mean that maybe her weight is low... Your pediatrician would tell you if there is anything to worry about.
If your really concerned and your daughter doesn't see the Ped. anytime soon Just get a scale and a measuring tape and do the measurements your self. Call the Dr. and ask them if she is normal for her age.
Hope this helps!

Mine is 9 months old (almost 10 months) and wears a size 12 months. Some of her 6/9 still fit, but not many.
BUT
If I want to put her in one of those Romper things (long sleeves, long legs) I have to buy an 18 or 24 months. She is thin, but very long.
She wears a size 3 shoes.

Well my son who's 6,wears a size 6 or 7,and my daughter who's 8 wears a size 8 or 9,it all depends on the material,and plus depends on the weight,cause I have an 8 year old nephew,and he's pretty tall,and big for his age,that he wears a size 11.

My daughter is 4 1/2 and she wears a 5-6 in length, but a 3 in tummy sizes. So it's a little difficult. I have invested in a lot of belts.

My youngest daughter just turned 3 in Dec, and is just starting to wear 3T stuff, but still fits in lots of her 2T things. 2T pants are starting to get too short, but still fit around the waist. 3T stuff a little long, but just depends on the brand of clothing.
