I am having a little bit of a problem. My son keeps peeing through his diapers. I am changing him regularly, but he can pee once and soak through. I have tried huggies and pampers. Can someone please give me some advice on some good brands for little boys? What can I do to help this stop?

My parents adopted me 13 years ago from newborn and are wanting to adopt again through private adoption.Of course will be in heaven with one child, but I'd still kinda like for them to adopt twins, trpilets, ect. What are the odds of adopting more than one babys or toddlers?Race doesn't matter, and it they are willing to adopt a child that might have special needs. And yes we could adopt more than 1 baby from different mothers, but it's almost impossible to find 1 birthmother much less 2 or more. And does anyone know how to go about finding a birthmother around where we live (West virginia). My parents got lucky when they adopted me.My bio dad knew my adoptive parents. They really weren't looking to adopt 13 years ago when they adopted me but knew I needed a home.Thinks in advance. And please serious answers only please.

My 8-month-old son is really a pain in the butt sometimes. He refuses to entertain himself and is constantly whining and wanting my undivided attention. Is it wrong to let him stay on the floor when he is fussing (otherwise happy, well rested, changed, fed, etc.). I feel like if I let him fuss a little bit on his own maybe he will figure out a way to entertain himself for a short period of time. He does not crawl yet, hates to roll over to his tummy (because of the sleep on the back rule) and generally just wants me to entertain him all of the time. He has every toy imaginable (including boxes, tupperware and the homemade gadgets). Why won't he play by himself for short periods of time. Do I just need to let him figure it out by himself? He is not sick, he is very loved, and has no reason why he shouldn't want to play and explore on his own?

He apparently is constipated but passes stools every day or two. It causes him terrible pain to pass large, bulky motions. He has to push so hard, I worry about his blood pressure at that point. The poo often breaks off and gets stuck in his anus causing even more distress. It culminates in slight tearing and bleeding of his anus which is obviously very painful and sore. It is normal colour and fairly soft - not dark small pebbles like you'd expect for constipation. GP's advise senna but when I was giving it regularly I think it was making matters worse as he was passing 'smears' of poo in his nappy all day long. I also think it could of been giving him tummy aches. He has a healthy varied diet and although dislikes most fruit and fruit juice, he eats lots of veg and drinks copious amounts of water. Any suggestions of the cause and/or natural remedies greatly appreciated.

My mom and I have had a minor disagreement on this topic for years. Hopefully you can help out. :)

ALL of my friends who've had babies have had at least one, and sometimes more than one, of the following side effects at some point during pregnancy (usually the 1st trimester) -- feeling tired/fatigued, having mood changes and/or mood swings, feeling queasy or nauseus, throwing up, having odd food cravings, or getting sick with colds often (due to pregnancy hormones suppressing the mother's immune system).

When my mom was pregnant with me, she had NONE of these side effects! Amazing, isn't it?? I've told her she's "the exception to the rule", since everyone I know has had at least one side effect, and usually more than one. My mom, on the other hand, says my "statistics" aren't worth much, because I don't know enough people who've had babies.

She seems to think it's COMMON to have no side effects when pregnant, but I'm convinced it's UNCOMMON. It's lucky, but it's not common!

I am 8 weeks pregnant and would have been due on today...im experiencing some cramping pains and a bit of back-ache like I would have had if I was about to come on. Is this normal? Im probably slightly more paranoid after an early bleed I had at 6weeks and a few days! Anyone else had this? Thanks guys

I'm 4 months pregnant and having a girl. We have a few names narrowed down, but I want an outside opinion. I'm looking for something creative, spiritual, and nothing common (example: Anne, Heather, Tiffany, etc). What we have that we like is Freya for a first name, but would make a good middle name? Another first name we like is Dharma - what's a good middle name for Dharma? Let me know yer thoughts, please! First and middle names or just middle names with the first two suggestions.

My neworn baby is 3 weeks old and has very bush brushy eyebrows. Everytime someone comes over to see her they laugh and comment at how wild she looks. I am tired of their snickering and want to do something about it. I am thinking of arching her eyebrows myself. She will look so much better. Her eyebrows are wild and cover her entire forhead. Should I use regular tweezers or do they have baby tweezers for this? Help please!

I am just wondering, what factors come into play when you make a choice on how to feed your baby... I want pretty much anyone who is feeding a baby to tell me:

1. is it breast, formula, or combination?
2. before your baby was born, how did you intend to feed?
3. did this decision change once the baby was born? if so, how/why? who influenced your decision?
4. if breastfeeding, did anything impede your progress, if so, what? how long did you breastfeed for?
5. does your baby behave differently from breast/formula feeds, or can you tell a difference?
6. overall, how do you feel about your feeding decisions?
7. are you uncomfortable with breast feeding? if so, why?
8. are you uncomfortable with formula feeding? if so, why?
9. do you compare yourself to other moms when it comes to feeding?

10. if you had it to do over, would you change anything?

thanks for your answers. I am not looking to judge, just wondering what is going on in other mother's heads. :)

I figured it was true since while she has been on it she has not had a period, so this should make pregnancy impossible right.
