Does pregnancy go by fast??

Question

Hi everyone I am 21 weeks pregnant. The beggining of the pregnancy seemed to be an eternity. Once you reach the halfway point, does it seem to fly by?? Just curious what other previously pregnant woman say? Thank you!

yes and no. i am 38 almost 39 weeks. the first 8 months seemed to fly by. first i was only like 2 months and then all of a sudden it seemed like i was 8 months...now though when i am due in 10 days it seems to drag on and on and on.... good luck though...just try not to think of it. once you get to like 25 weeks in stead of saying im due in 4 months (cause you are really preganat for 10 months) say i am due in 15 weeks it sounds a whole lot shorter

While I was pregnant it seemed to take forever! The beginning of it actually went by kinda of fast for me...I was working full time, so every time it got to the weekend I'd think "1 week less till I get to meet my baby!" Once I went on maternity leave though is when it went slow...I had nothing to do at home, so I just sat around and went online all day. I could have worked, but my husband didn't want me to. So, the last month was SO SLOW!!! Once my pregnancy was over though it seems like it was just yesterday I found out I was pregnant!

Good luck and congrats! You are half way there! Once you have this baby you will actually miss being pregnant, strange I know, but me and everyone I know misses it once they gave birth.

I'm on number 2 and with my first at some points it did seem to go by quickly and some points it seems to go by waaaaaay too slowly, but the fastest point for me was after my son was born. That was when it seems to go by so fast. When I first held him and look upon him in my arms I felt like just that morning I had found out I was pregnant.
Now with my number 2, (20ish weeks as well) - the first 3months of this pregnancy went by waaaaay to slow! I'm talking dragging on and on; I was sooooooo sick, every hour of every day seemed to be a year!! But now that I'm over the "morning" sickness, things are seeming to pick up speed.

Pregnancy seems to drag on forever. My second half went by as slow as the first, if not slower. But the first year of your baby's life will fly by. It seemed like I was pregnant forever, now my daughter's 1st year is almost over. I don't know where the time went, but you should really savor every moment. Good Luck!

For me the last half goes by a lot faster because I'm not laying in bed, day to day, sick anymore like I do during the first tri.

But the last month or so really drags on so do something to occupy your time. Take up a class at the art/craft store or something else to get you talking to more people and busy doing something.

It seems like when it is you that is pregnant is goes by so slow but when it is someone else it is lie it flys by.

To me when i got to be 30 weeks it started going faster. Ended up having my son at 35 weeks.

My pregnancy felt like it lasted forever. I was so exited to have my baby.On the other hand, years later, it feels like that pregnancy and first few years with baby went by in a flash!

For me in the beginning it was slow cuz i didn't have a belly for a really long time but then it flew by till now 37 weeks and WAITING hehe it seems like forever!!

Watching my child grow has gone by even faster. He is now twelve years old and in junior high, and it seemed like just yesterday he was in diapers. In half as many years as he's been alive, he will be 18, considered an adult, able to vote, and leaving for college. Argh!

It seems like when you're pregnant that it takes forever for the baby to be born, but when it's born time goes by so fast. You really have to enjoy them when they're young.
