Honey, you've just begun the sleep deprivation part of your life. There's not a lot you can do about this. Your body is going through so many changes right now, and once the baby is here, there will be a whole new set of changes that will cause sleep deprivation. Drink lots and tons of water, and keep exercising. (Exercising that is approved by your physician.) Keep eating healthy and take those vitamins. It's possible that you have an iron deficiency...talk to your physician. That's what they are there for, and that's why they earn the big bucks!

I felt this way towards the latter part of my pregancies, but I don't know why you can't sleep so early on.
You could try having a warm bath with soothing sea-salts or other relaxing ingredients. Warm milk or herbal teas might also help.
When your tummy gets bigger, I found a pillow between my legs and laying on my side helped me to sleep better also. Even soft music in the background can help relax you also.
You could go to some yoga or exercise classes which are designed for moms-to-be. I would also think about taking an early leave at work and try not to drive when your overly tired. Do you really want an accident now, not only for your own health, but your unborn baby's either?
Take care and try to find ways to relax your body more while your pregnant...it'll help you, your baby and the delivery process also.

eek--I wish there was somthing I can tell you--
the sleepless nights are never ending
and wait until your last trimester when you are in the bathroom every hour at night.

try to take a few naps during the day/night when you can.
be sure to unwind before you lay down to sleep at night--reading a book or magazine does that for me.

good luck! not being able to sleep is just as bad as morning sickness

I have never been there. But as a man, I suggest that you wake the hubby and enter into a conversations about the pros and cons of child birth, or something equally philosophical. Why suffer alone? Good luck!

it will pass. i went through that at the begining of mine too. but it will probably start back up near the end. for now you just have to tough it out. try a warm bath. if it doent help you sleep it will at least make you feel better. good luck.
