My son always did really well with Huggies Supreme or the Huggies Overnights (but not my daughter for some reason) Maybe you are putting them on too loose?

Make sure you have the right size, but you know there is not a whole lot you can do. We tried all brands and it is hard to keep boy from overflowing. Even with all the leak guards and what have you. We did huggies and pampers, he was allergic to pampers, we tried luvs and that was the worst of all, and if you are having this promblem don't even try a store brand because you will have an even worse problem on your hands. They do have diaper covers which will protect the cloths so you might try that. Wish I could help you more I hear ya girl, but sometimes there is just not much you can do.

I had a problem with Huggies at first as well...I didn't know you had to lift up the little blue liner thingy they had, and I had a lot of leaks. Luvs has a new blue liner, which make my son break out. I have had the best luck with White Cloud (only at Wal-Mart) and the Target brand diapers. They hold a lot (especially first thing in the morning) and I've had very few problems. They're about $5 less per box than the name brands, too. One thing I always make sure of, though, is that his penis is pointing downwards when I put his diaper on. That seems to help, too.

Both my sons peed threw huggies and pampers also, Luvs are inexpensive but still dont do a great job. I preferrably like Dri Bottoms at walmart, they are the cheapest diapers but they work great. I have 2 boys and that is all I buy.

Can you try going to the next larger size? My daughter had problems with huggies, so I went to pampers and she did fine. It may also be the fit. My daughter had pee coming out the upper back. So I went to Pampers and they were Cruisers. They have flexibility that "wraps" around your baby.
So, I would try Pampers Cruisers (as opposed to "Baby Dry") at a larger size.
Good Luck!!

Try using a cheaper brand. The more expensiveones may seem as if they will work the best, but that is not always true. I hear Luvs works well.
Also.... So he doesnt get his clothes ruined, try putting little plastic pants over his diaper.

Try going up to the next size diaper and make sure you are putting them on tight enough.

when i had my son i swore on pampers... but as he got older he ped through no matter how often we changed him... so i switched to luvs... those worked for awhile but as he got to be one to 1 1/2 he peed through those, so i changed to white cloud from wal-mart.... they worked soo great he never peed through them once!
