They say it is common in the first few months to have some PMS symptoms about the time your period would normally be due. So try not to worry, but if the pain gets unbearable or you start to bleed, you should call your doctor or go to the hospital immediately. Good Luck!

My partner had something similar about that time.
Basically if the bleeding is not heavy and the pain is not severe cramps it should be ok. However you should not take a chance and to put your mind at rest you should go get it checked out.
We went to the maternity uint a few times with worries/ concerns and they always said we did the right thing to come in. Remember you're holding precious cargo in there!

I think you should call your Doctor, since you experienced some bleeding at six weeks, don't take any chances, This could be a rough time for you the first few months, after that it should be a breeze till it's time to give birth to the little one.. Good Luck, Take care.

i was once pregnant and with horrible pain in one side and bleeding, i called my midwife and said was normal, went to A&E and told me pregnancy was fine after suffering for nearly 3 weeks an everybody saying i was fine my husband took me to A&E and told them we wouldn't leave the hosp. until a scan was made to me, 6 hours later i entered the theater for an emergency operation, an ectopic pregnancy.
i think we mums growth with a 6 sense so if you belive smth is no rigth visit your hospital and ask them to do a scan mostly if you have a sharp pain in one side , nearly were the apendix is or the other side. BUT I WISH YOU WELL AND HOPE YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFULL BABY>

I have had three babes and this happened to me each time! Around the time i would have been due a period I would get period style cramps. This happen for the first couple of months then they disappeared. All should be fine, unless they are wildly painful. Tell your doc anyway..always good to tell them everything...good luck and enjoy

It's most likely your uterus and the ligaments that support it are stretching out. (The ligaments wrap around to the back.) In my opinion, if the pain gets worse or you start to bleed, go to the doctor ASAP. Otherwise, you're most likely fine. All pregnant women get this, and it'll come and go your whole pregnancy as everything stretches and grows.
