My last baby was born in the front seat of my parents brand new Ford F250 king cab truck. My mom was driving at the time , with my husband wedged backwards between the two front seats to catch the baby. Mom was driving like a bat of H***, and went screeching up to the first open place she could possibly find to use the phone. It was 1:20 in the morning and of course the first place she found happened to be a bar. Sooooooo, while waiting for the ambulance to arrive, I had about 20 drunk bar patrons standing around the truck ooohing and aahing over the new baby! And here I am,butt naked from the waist down with my legs up on the dashboard! My daughter who is now 13, LOVES to tell all her freinds this story!

Not so much a weird place, just a fact (at least in California); it is illegal to give birth in a hotel.
I'm having a home birth, btw. And a friend of mine had a baby on a subway in New York. She was 35weeks. Totally unplanned. She was on her way to The Metropolitan Museum of Art for a nice day of relaxation when the train stalled. After sitting there for nearing a hour and a half, she went in to labor. Healthy little boy named after the EMT that happened to be there on his day off!!

My oldest son was born, in a tent on Yasgur's Farm, during the 1969 Woodstock Festival. His name is Nathanial Woodstock .......... His nickname, Yas (YAZ), because of how cool, Mr.Yasgur was. Needless to say, I had to leave, before the festival was over. Charlotte

That is better than mine. I was born in my grandparents cafe/pool hall. I like yours alot better. That is good for your children because they can have dual citizenship, assuming you are not from Australia.
