That is hardly nothing. 2 of my sisters were pregnant at the same time as my mom was. My parents had 7 kids and our ages are:
33,30,27(Me),25,22,17,11
My oldest sister and little brother are 20 years apart.
So really 14 years is not that much compared to this.
Good luck to your parents and you

What exactly is your problem with this? You should be happy that you are going to have a new baby in the family. Are you afraid that you wont get any attention anymore or that the new baby is going to knock you out of getting things that you want. Just because your mother and father have decided to have a baby dosent mean that they dont love you anymore. You may have trouble accepting it right now but I think later on you will be happy for them and happy that you have a sibling. Enjoy the new baby, it is a great gift to watch them grow and learn, besides you will have someone that looks up to you and admires you. :)

You dont like being around kids or something??? Well dont you wanna have someone look up to you and you can play with and teach them all sorts of new things. Anyways I got two babies and a 11 year old stepson so I know at first he didnt like the idea of two new babies but he eventually got to where he loves it. So maybe if your mom does have a baby you will grow to accept it well hey check out this new 3D messenger I found if you want to check it out I use it all the time its alot better than the other messengers I think anyways.

Look on the bright side it might be fun to have a baby around the house. You could probably even earn some money helping with the baby and babysitting etc.. Talk to your mom about your feelings but remember she is the parent and it is her decision not yours to have another baby. When you get older you will be really happy to have a brother or sister in your life, trust me.

Don't feel so bad! My brother's girlfriend is 20 years old and her and her mother (age 40) had babies 5 days apart. Now there is brother and sister with a 20 year age difference. Well at least they got to go baby shopping together!

It's not the end of the world!!!! I had twins three years ago, my son was 14 & my daughter was 16. They were shocked at first but they wouldn't change a thing now. Just think, you'll have someone that totally worships you. The twins worship their older brother and sister.

You'll learn to get used to it. I'm a child of soon to be 6 children. The oldest child (adult) is 23 years of age, and she's just fine with the fact that my mother's pregnant, as am i! Hope it works out!

Well, you're going to have to accept it. You'll be more like aunt/uncle to him/her. It happens. It used to happen all the time. Think about the good side. If you have a kid some day, they'll get to have a young uncle/aunt. That's nice. My youngest uncle was always the funnest to spend time with. He was born when my mother was about your age.

Sweetie, that's nothing. I have a friend who's father got re-married and his wife wanted kids of her own. My friend is now 27 and he has a younger brother who is 3 and another who is 1.
13 years, isn't that big of a difference. My boyfriend and his siblings are almost all 10 years apart too. It worked out great for them.
