No. My daughter weighed that much at that age. She was on the small end of the curve. Which is means nothing. Your child is fine. If your child eats when he/she is hungry, don't worry about. Kids don't usually eat that much at that age. Now my daughter is 4 and 35 lbs. She eats alot better.

Not necessarily.
My 22 month old son weighs 21 pounds. He is small for his age. Daddy is really short.
So it depends on his height as well. Are you or your partner short?
It might just be genetic. That's what it is in my son's case.
He is very petite.
If your really worried about his weight, ask your pediatrician about it. If he/she isn't worried about his weight, then you shouldn't be either.

I think that is okay. I have a 5 year old that weighs 34lbs. She has always been small. The Dr. told me that as long as she is gaining weight, even if it a pound or oz., she is doing fine. When she stops gaining weight is when you have to worry.

My daughter is almost 3 1/2 and she weighs less than 30 pounds.
Although she has had strep many many times, and has to get her tonsils out next week...the doctor promised me she would gain weight once she can taste food again.

My daughter weighs 26 lbs and she just turned 2 the end of Sept and the doctor made no remark about her being underweight. I believe your child's weight is normal.
If you are still worried, just give your pediatrician a call and speak with him/her to ease your worries.

my daughter is 2 and only weighs 23 pounds she wears 18 month pants and 12 month shirts. my daughter is short and healthy not chubby but not boney either and she is at the 25 percentile what ever you call it and she is ok

my lil lady replaced into born at 31wks she lost weight after that is standard she had continuously been on the lil facet she doesnt hav any health issues in any respect she is now in simple terms grew to develop into 3 and he foodstuff plan it good whats ya women foodstuff plan like i do imagine u want to get her cheaked out caues it truly is amazingly small for her age

if its a girl, its normal im not sure if its a boy. some doctors have a graph for age, weight, and height.
