Pregnancy & Parenting - 10 January 2007

My son is 8 and still struggling with empathy and being able to see anyone's perspective other than his own. Yesterday he brought home a writeup from school from December - kid took cuts, my son shoved & got busted. I yelled at him, as did his dad and stepdad. TODAY the teacher calls and tells me that it happened again - kid took cuts, my son shoved, kid slapped my son. My son maintains that the other kid was "more wrong" for hitting than my kid was for shoving him. My son is already grounded from TV, video games and hot lunch at school til the end of the month for lying about an assignment. He's not into sports or activities, so there's nothing else I can take away. What else can I do to get it through his head? Yelling obviously doesn't even work for 24 hours! I have nothing left in my consequence arsenal!

I had my baby in early September. I had light bleeding until mid October, but I still haven't had a period. I took another pregnancy test just to be sure and it said negative. Could there be something wrong, or is it fine to not have one yet?

We are expecting a boy in March. We are having a hard time finding names that we like.
We have 2 children boy Alexander Rydell 6yr and girl Lilliannne Emily 3 yr.

By coincidence our son and daughter have 9 letter names. We would like to continue that with the 3rd child.

I recently had sex with this girl on the 26th of December last year... unprotected and she wasnt on a pill. Is there any possibility of her showing up pregrant now? Its been 2 weeks now... Im thinking its too early for the pregancy test to be positive... so it makes me wonder if she was already pregnant when i met her?

Please tell me what you think... Is it possible?

When you are pregnant, and your boobs get tender, how many days away is your scheduled period? Or, On the first day of your missed period, how many days before that did your boobs get sore, when you're pregnant? And yes, I know many women get sore boobs before every period, I'm one of them...

Me and my partner had unprotected sex on Jan 7 this year. It was my first time. Now im worried because he had kind of like pre-*** maybe a few to alot, so now a couple of days after, today, there was this brownish color from my bottoms. my doctor won't return my calls. I had my 1st child in July. I have not started my period and I am not breastfeeding. I have been having spotting and a clear shiny mucus when I wipe for about 3months on and off. Has anyone had this before? am I pregnant again?

why females get big hips after they have their baby? I use to have a flat S. After my 1st child i had a little. After my 2nd child my butt got a little bigger. I wuz a size 7. But after my 3rd child my butt and hips got big know my size is 11. Im not fat. By the way all girls. This is the only thing i have liked about being pregnant. lol

Do you ladies think there is any way I could've had a chemical pregnancy? I had so many symptoms and they were real. I didn't just bring them on myself. I had actual nausea that kept coming! I had all that CM and stuff too. Then my period came 2 or 3 days late. I dunno, I kinda think I had a chemical pregnancy, which I think I had one before because I had a postive test and symptoms then I bled. Or what if I had a miscarriage because right before I started my period, I had bad cramps! What do you ladies think? Which may I add I still have these symptoms and even started getting sick to smells while I am on my period! And last night I woke up like 3 times wanting to throw up! I was sick! I don't understand why I would feel like that! What is wrong with me?! I had the stomach flu the other day but I don't feel sick! I still have all the symptoms I had before I started AF, then last night I wanted to throw up!

My ex boyfriend basically forced me into terminating a pregnancy (his child) when I did not want to. He made it clear that he would not have anything to do with the child as he already has 1 child from previous marriage. I of course wanted the baby as I did not agree on abortion. But I also have 1 child from a previous relationship that I do not recieve child support as father is in another country, so therefore cannot afford to raise 2 kids on my own. This was extremely hard for me to do as I love kids and work with them. My Ex is now harrasing me asking me for money back for which he gave me at this time for assistance and is threatening to sue me for it ($1200). Can I sue him for harrasment and pain and suffering as I feel I need some sort of counseling after having the abortion? Or am I just being silly and stand no chance at all? All answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

okay, I had my daughter in July. I have not had a period. I have been spotting and having a really shiny clear mucus when I wipe. It isn't all the time. I cannot get my obgyn to return my calls. does anyone know what is going on? am I preganant again? has anyone had this? she was my 1st child.

I'm 25 y/o, a mother of a 2 y/o, have been TTC #2 for 2 months now. My cycles have been as long as 35 days before. My last one was 32 days, with a very heavy period. Today is day 35. Yesterday I had a very small amount of discharge (brown & red) with moderate cramping. I used 2 tampons yesterday; the first had a very small amount of discharge, the second was clean. No more discharge since, but still mild cramps. My periods are usually heavy when I'm not on b/c, and I don't usually have this long of a time between the start of my period and a heavy flow.

The kicker: when I got pg with my daughter, on day 35 I noticed sore, tingling breasts -- I don't have that now. I also don't remember having this crampy feeling when I was pg before. I have been nauseated for a couple of weeks now, with some diarrhea too (maybe b/c I'm nervous/excited).

I have a dr appt tomorrow for something else....I guess I'll get a pg test tonight and go from there. I'm just anxious!

I often see people be absolutely rude to young mothers. It's such a disgrace!

My question is to the women who feel young motherhood is always horrible. Why? Obviously the parents who have had children young on here are doing great. They all seem to have internet, a computer, a loving home, and so on. Why would a person discriminate against all young mothers when quite a few have done well for themselves? Is it just a lack to understand a person's situation or is it because people think they are better than others?

I found out I was pregnant on Halloween and nothing has gone right since! I started thinking about baby names about a week ago and for some reason Alexander really stuck out in my head for a boy. I haven't really thought about girl names, but we decided on Hannah Diane. For some reason, my fiancee doesn't want to name the baby Alexander, but all the names he has suggested I don't like either. He claims I don't like any names other than Alexander, but thats not true. I wouldn't mind if we named him Adrian or Kieran. I really like those names too. We just can't compromise on this and I need help!

Anybody have any suggestions or advice? I mean I can't name the baby something only I like. We have to agree on a name but it feels like thats never going to happen...

I am 20 weeks preg and I have been getting really bad bloody noses. I know that minor bloody noses are very common but mine is very bad and mom thinks I should go to doctor... I am on my 3rd this morning, and its pouring out... I also keep getting huge blood clots that come out of my nose as well. I also can feel the blood draining into my throat and have to keep spitting out bloody spit... Sorry to be gross but is this normal or should I call doctor.
