I had my baby in early September. I had light bleeding until mid October, but I still haven't had a period. I took another pregnancy test just to be sure and it said negative. Could there be something wrong, or is it fine to not have one yet?

Are you breastfeeding? Often it takes a long time to get your period back after baby, especially if you're breastfeeding.

It is normal to bleed for up to 6 weeks about birth. But you should have gotten a normal period by now, or at least some light bleeding. You should really call and discuss this with your doctor.

I had my daughter in November, bled for about six weeks, and then didn't get a period until I stopped breastfeeding, when she was about 13 months old. My doctor said it was normal.
If you're not breastfeeding, though, for sure go get checked out.

are you using birth control and practicing safe sex? if so I wouldn't worry too much. If your not ... tests can be wrong. That is how I ended up with my kids 11 months apart :)
