Does anyone no the average height for a 5yr old girl?

my daughter has just been measured 2day and i would like 2 no if she's average below or above.

she's 3 1/2 stone and 3ft 8inches.i can sympathsise with you sian p iv had the same problem since she was born clothes of her age that never fit she's never gained weight properly,so much so that when she was a baby cause i was only 17 when i had her they made me write a food diary cause they thought i wasnt feeding her properly,at 3 months she was only putting on 1/2 ounce in a wk,but having three meals plus,five 8ounce bottles.just wanted to no the average height cause they normally tell me if her weight and height are ok but they didnt this time and her next review isnt till a years time.p.s thanks for all the answers so far.xx

my little girl is 6 years old and small for her age 102cms , i think 110 is avarage for 5 year old, but check red book. My little one is in primary 2, and she is smaller than a lot of the 4 year olds at the nursery.

I wouldnt worry either way as log as shes healthy.

don't know the average - do you have a little red book ? It will tell you the average in there. If it's any consolation, my 5 year old son is tiny (he wears age 2-3 & 3-4 clothes). he's been to the docs and they've checked him out blood tests the lot and he is fine. I worried like anyhting when he started school but when he's with the other children he's only a couple of inches shorter than them.

im possible to dtermine because age is not the only factor to haight. Genes and ethnicity have a lot to do with it.

well my daughter is 5 yrs old and she is approimatly 46 inchs. hope that helps.
