I am 20 weeks preg and I have been getting really bad bloody noses. I know that minor bloody noses are very common but mine is very bad and mom thinks I should go to doctor... I am on my 3rd this morning, and its pouring out... I also keep getting huge blood clots that come out of my nose as well. I also can feel the blood draining into my throat and have to keep spitting out bloody spit... Sorry to be gross but is this normal or should I call doctor.

You could be anemic. You need to eat foods rich in iron...red meat, dark green leafy vegetables. Avoid any blood thinning products ie aspirin and associated medications. Don't use nasal sprays or decongestants.
Until this passes, stay warm. The cold dry air from outside isn't helping. Put increased humidity in your home. Put some water on the stove and let it just simmer.
Don't put anything in your nose. If the MD needs to do that, it's fine. They put in a devise like a tampon and allow the area to heal before removing it.

No it is not normal. YOU should see doctor immediately. It probley is a sinsus infection but don't take chaces. it also could be a problem with a broker vessel.
For tempory confort take some warm salted water and put in hand and sniff up your nose several times. Goggle out with it also to clear blood taste from your throat.

Have you been having Severe Head-aches previous to the Nose Bleeds? Could be Caused by way of Migraine and/or Stress. See your Doctor. I used to get Migraines and the Nose bleeds adopted the Migraine.

if it won't stop, go get it cotterzied. You'll be happy you did. Nothing worse than a bloody nose that won't stop.
I've never had cotterization done, but those that I know who have said it wasn't painful.
Go to the doctor, make future grandmother happy and get rid of that bloody nose.

You need to call the doctor. Even if a nose bleed is normal, you are having abnormal nose bleeds that may be more than annoying.

I would go to the doctor. Your health is so delicate during pregnancy. Call the doctor's nurse and see what they think.

to me it looks like you might have some form of reaction, possibly a type of diebetes associated with pregnancy.

yes call. this sounds painfull but its not all that bad. but they will burn the blood cells that are causing it to bleed. I had it done last year. Good luck
