My last period was December 5, I have a uncomfortable feeling in my stomach / abdomen area, my breasts are sore on and off, I feel nauseous a lot, I'm having headaches and I'm very tired. I took a preg test on Friday got a negative. Could I still be pregnant?

It sounds rather suspicious. There is a 2 day time in the middle of your cycle when the mucus is slippery. slippery mucus is needed for the sperm to be able to swim upstream. If the sperm fertilizes the egg in the fallopian tubes, then a hormone change tells the body to catch that egg and "implant" it on the uterus wall so it can grow into a baby. Each of these steps is marked by significant hormonal changes which affect breasts and digestion. Pregnancy tests aren't totally accurate, as individual hormone levels vary somewhat, especially if you have been taking the pill, and so acclimated to a totally abnormal hormone balance.

Yes you could still be pregnant. It depends on how old you are and if your young that your parents don't know. If your older then you should go to the doctor. I've been through it and I was two months behind. I ended up either loosing it or wasn't at all but you need to be sure before you go out and drink or something like that

what makes you think we know if you're pregnant or not?
look, try and be logical. if you have had sex, and you have functioning reproductive organs, then YES, you could be pregnant.
pregnancy tests work by detecting hormones brought about by pregnancy. a false negative is the early stages is COMMON. a false positive is very rare.
try another test in a few days.

If your cycles are usually regular, I'd take another test and maybe see a doctor. Sounds like classic symptoms of pregnancy.

It is possible. Is the uncomfortable feeling cramps or gas? If it is cramps, you will probably get your period in a day or so and it was just late. If it is gas .... you might be pregnant!
