i live in california and the weather has been cold and warm every other day so when i can me and my daughter go to the park, but when it's cold out we stay in and play games or bake or just hang out around the house and watch movies.

Gosh I hope not!! A clean house is a sign of a wasted life!! : )
Not really, however, house cleaning is not near as important as spending time with ones children.
I myself take my kids to the park when weather permits. We usually like to go at least once a week and pack a lunch with us.
I find it really relaxing to sit back and watch them play. I also think alot of us adults have forgotten how much fun it is to get on a swing and go really high!! It's the equivelant to being on a roller coaster to me anymore!!
That being said, I don't know what the weather is like where you are at but it's awful cold here in Missouri , so the parks are kind of empty.

We go to the park on occasion (my son is 6), but we also go to the beach and visit friends. My friends have children close to my son's age and they'd rather be together than hang out with strangers or alone at the park, so we moms sit and talk while we watch our kids play. They dress up in costumes, play that they are oceanographers (we live in Hawaii...lol), run around the yard, climb things, and sometimes watch a movie. They're also pretty active with their scooters, bikes, and skateboards, so I don't worry about them not getting enough exercise. Here on Kauai we have an average daily temperature of 78 so we're outside all the time!
Aloha :)

We clean the house together on Saturday mornings and do something together in the afternoons. Go ice skating, go to the park, visit the grandparents, etc. But I'm a stay at home Mom so I get to clean here and there everyday. I don't have to do it all in one day. I think parents just do the best they can.

Kids these days tend to have a lot more planned activities, like soccer or softball/baseball. If you look around you will see teams practicing or playing games everywhere. My kids and I are always at karate or softball or riding dirtbike or skiing. Most kids like to do things in groups or teams instead of alone with just mom or dad. It is also winter, so here in the North it's too cold for the park!

Well, we usually have family night on saturday. I live in Ohio and even though it's not really cold right now, I don't want my kids being outside. With all this wacky weather we've been having, they'd get sick. On Saturdays we go rent a family movie and watch it together. During the summer months my girls and I go to the park nearly every day.

My family likes to ride bikes and bowl. The park isn't our cup of tea unless it has a great playground. There are tons of things families can do nowdays on weekends, not just a trip to the park. Where I live, it rains so much that the park usually isn't an option.

Well it is winter now ... I keep my kids indoors. We play games inside together and hang out. We do everything on the weekends as a family. Lately we have even been going to Chuck E. Cheese.

We go to the park all the time. Depends where you live. It is winter, you know, tends to put a damper on the park trips in most places.

Many people have swingsets in their own yards..I know I did. I hardly ever went to the park..I didnt have to. We had a swingset, a pool, a slide etc.
When my kids were smaller, they would play in the back yard or we would go places like museums, shopping, movies etc.
