I have friend you yells and cusses at her and her boyfriend's kids. If anybody says anything to her, she gets all defensive. How do I tell her she needs to stop; it obviously doesn't change the kids behaviour. If anything, they act up more.

she is 4 months pregnant,and because shes hearing different things from different people and im telling her not to worry,she is showing she has a bump,ive told her she wont feel big movements as yet,and as i cant tell her exactly what she should be feeling she doesnt know if its the baby moving or not,and shes starting to panic, ive told her according to her books she may not feel movements for another few weeks,but i cant convince her, please can someone help me out on convincing her please.thx

I'm a first time mom to be, barely in my 19th week. Just the other day, I noticed an increase in my dry skin. I was expecting this and had been using lotions and cocoa butter daily. However, in spite of all my efforts, the skin on my rear end is dry and no longer smooth to the touch. I've tried exfoliating as well, but thus far, no change. Does anyone have any suggestions other than my daily lotioning and exfoliating? Or is this something to be worried about???

I am 17 weeks pregnant and have not gained any weight. However the last time I was at my doctor (1 week ago) he felt around on the baby and told me the baby was big for my due date. I get an ultra sound next thursday so we will know for sure, however my question is: I am not diabetic but my boyfriend is inslulin dependant diabetic since the age of 7. My stomach looks like I am about 7 months along does him having type 1 diabetes put me at risk for having a large baby? Thanks for your help!!!

I am in my 20's and my husband and myself have decided that we want a baby, the bad news, this was over a year ago. I was almost 18 when i was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrom). I was told my chances of having kids were almost none. I am looking for any advice or help, dieting tips, herbal remedies, ANYTHING. Both my kids have uncommon names- they are both traditional of my culture. I wanted to name my new baby something different to them like- tiger, tigerlily, tahllulah, cocoa, milky, asti, or cinnamon. My husband thinks I am cruel and the child will be picked on, and our families both think I am joking. There are so many unusual names now that it is quite common. Anyway what do you think?

My husband and I have a great mirrage but he is always gone on his trips for his job, i mean he makes good money but im started to feel like my two year old is forgetting who his father is, when my husband comes home for three days my little boy will not touch him or give him hugs, when his father trys to he screams for me, and i feel so bad for my husband because he is hurting inside and he doesn't know what to do, How am i suppose to tell my son to understand that his daddy is right there and he doesn't have to be afaird, is it something im doing? am not talking about my husband infront of him to much what am i doing wrong?

I had an appt about a week ago b/c I have cists on my ovaries and endometriosis and today when my test results came back I was informed that my chances of getting pregnant would steadily decline until about the age of 25 when I will be completely infertile. I have been with my boyfriend for about a year and 1/2 now and we have always planned on getting married and starting a family (we both want 2 or 3 kids). He said he'd go with it if I was ready now but I'd like to have some more opinions....do you think it's smart to start a family at 18 if it's my only choice? Im pregnant with my first child and had a few concerns about the labor process. Ive read that women are given enemas...I know what its for but I was wondering if this was required or just suggested because I really think its a bit invasive for me. I cant imagine being forced to do it....also the same question in regards to having a cathader inserted...is that needed? when are these things needed?

Should I be there??
My g/f is in gymnastics and I want to go and support her. Her parents are unable to go but they ask that the gymnast bring someone. She asked me to go but I know it makes her coach made when I give her flowers(and a kiss) after she finds out she did awesome. Her coach blames me for why she took second(she had a broken wrist. she usually takes first)
Should I still go?? Her coach also hates that after the longer meets I will carry her out(b/c she has a partial tear in her muscle and isn't supposed to push it)
Should I go to her state finals??(she wants me to but her coach thinks I make it too easy for her, he says "she needs stress")

My three year old son just stuck an M&M up his nose. I'm sure he is not the first and won't be the last, but I can't get it out. I don't even see it up there anymore. It isn't bothering him. I am assuming it melted and just ran down his throat. He refuses to blow his nose. Should I take him to the doctor?

Quite common around the time of last year. For the past 2 years (2005-present), a ton of the girls I've known were so mean to mean. (In 6th grade, I hung around popular people, don't ask why.) Now that is still going on, when all the mean guys get the girls and most of the nice guys get squat. I am a nice guy to be around, but so far, I've been quiet and emo-ish.

Man, maybe it's rap and crap like that. Maybe that's what taught people to be mean to people like me.

Why all the hatin'? Why no compliments from girls at school?

Maybe this is a dream. Maybe I'm in high school now, making out at the movies with some hot chick. Maybe I am, maybe I ain't.

My daughter got her ears pierced for christmas. She had been asking me to get it done for at least a year-She was 3 and a half. I took her to a body piercing studio because the chemist would not pierce anyone under 5. Anyway the piercer asks me if I really want to get it done , and I tell him that "she" really wants to get it done. He said to me he would not let his kid have any piercings until she is 10, and that most kids scream & cry so much after the 1st ear that they have to be held down for the 2nd ear. My daughter held my hand and did not move or even whisper while her ears were done. He said he had never seen it before, when asked if it hurt she said, a little bit- and smiled. I didnt want her to get it done, SHE did- O.K. I know she is only 3 but its not like I would get her a pony if she wanted one. I think it is wrong for a baby to get it done, because they dont even know what it is, many cultures do it though. I think I did the right thing for MY child. What do you think?

Well im 15 and i enjoy my life...but as for the old sayin...that supposedly ur teen years are the best ones of ur life i doubt that...becuz its the dreaded years...of ridicule cuz ur not skinny enough, or u wear the wrong clothes, pimples, style, ugly hair, or ur just never good enough...etc...if you been through it u'll understand...which is pretty much everybody here..but thats besides the point...What im really trying to ask is how do i overcome peer pressure, ridicule and not fittin in..period?

Does anyone know how I would go about taking my convalescent leave after I have my baby? I am in the Navy. However, I have TAD orders to another command. Would I route my leave chit through my command, or the command that I have TAD orders to? I am a little confused on how this works. After my 6 weeks I am planning on returning back to my permanate duty station. Any military people know how this works?
