i know 2 women, they were sisters in law,...my friend was told she was having a girl...so prepare for a girl we did...she had a boy! now her sister in law was told she was having a boy and out popped a girl...fortunalty for them we were able to just swap all their stuff, but it was still sad because of all the "speical and hadmade" gifts.

they lived across the state fome one another, so it was not a case of poor radiographer....

good luck and even though you really want a boy...just pray for happy and healthy!

My Dr. told me it's more COMMON for misdiagnosis on when they think it's a girl, because the labia are so swollen that they often look similar to testes and a penis on sonograms. So yes, there is a chance that your test could be wrong. Probably not a very likely chance, but a chance none the less.....

My cousin had two boys and the sonogram on her third said a girl. Everyone was thrilled and she painted the nursery pink and got lots of stuff with the name Jennifer on it. She had a final sonogram before a C-section and they told her - oops ... So she had a little lead time, but not much. (The nursery stayed pink BTW).
