im 38 weeks pregnant with my first child, im 18 and doing this on my own without the help of the babys father. My doctor exspects me to deliver this week. but my mother is going away next saterday...i'll be 39 weeks next wendesday do u think that if i havent had my son by then it would be too early to induce? i'd like to be home and out of the hospital before my mother leaves.

She is 2 years & 4 months old. We were making slow progress, but we've had a set back. 4 weeks ago our pet almost died and I'm sure she picked up on our sadness because she stopped peeing in the potty or toilet for 2 weeks after that. Since then she has used the toilet a few times, but she almost always refuses now. She won't even let me put her on the potty or toilet. She peed in the toilet for me at her Grandma's on Christmas day, but nothing since then. We also have a baby on the way, due in less than a month. Should I push the potty training issue right now, or let her come around on her own?

The line under the neg. was very very dark and the possitive was very very light almost white does that mean it was positive or negitive ??

I have gained a total of 7 pounds and I am now 23 weeks. A co-worker said she lost weight but because she is diabetic and had to be on a strict diet. Yes I am eating healthier and I think that's what causing it. How many pounds have you or did you gain when 23 weeks?

My 3 year old son has a fever of 100.7 and is laying around for 3 hours. I gave him tylenol but hasn't helped him it seems. What should I do for him?

Also, he hasn't gone to the bathroom (number 2) for almost 3 days now...is this normal? Is this related? Any suggestions please....Thanks in Advance

Hello! Please HELP! I am so worry. I tested positive on pregancy test 2 weeks ago, and on 12/26/06 I did a blood test HCG quant and came back 1891 then 2 days later I did another test and came back 2120. This week after I had sexual intercourse. I started spotting and now it's been 2 days. Only when I clean myself, I can see it and on my panties there are very few spots that are browish and pinkish. Today I did another HCG test and came back 2466, but is slow rising. It actually increased a little more between my first and second HCG test and that was only 48 hours different.
I have this slightly pain on my pelvic that come and goes away. What does this mean? I can't sleep at night just thinking that something might happen to my baby. Please give me some advice. thanks guys!

It is very interesting technology but I am not sure about all the applications. How do you feel about children being implanted with RFID chips in order to monitor their whereabouts?

My son is 28 months. Following a 24 hour bug of a minor cold. He has vomit a few times now for two days... do you have any advice? Im a new mom and nervous wreck.... he has not vomit since he was an infant when he use to spit up...


In the last 2 days Ive fed him cereal, bananas, baby food jars and juice. He's vomit half of his meals. No milk as two nights ago he threw up his milk ..

What is toddler tummy and why is this happening to him.

Meanwhile he is acting like a normal toddler. He is happy and playing. He does cry after he vomits but I hug him and tell its ok and clean him up. Although he has requested to rest and lay down more often I believe due to tummy aches?

I have a 3 month old that i am breastfeeding. I was treated for an breast infection in my right breast about 2 weeks ago. Now I have it again in my left breast. I have already gone to the doctor and got a prescription, but i was wondering if there was any vitamin/supplement that i could take to prevent me from getting this again. Also, if I keep getting this, does it mean that I have to stop breastfeeding? I breastfeed my 1st baby until she was 9 months and had no problems so im not used to this.

I'd like for my son to start learning how to help out a little. I'm not expecting him to clean house or anything not age-appropriate (I'm expecting somebody on here is bound to feel that's the case). He helps pick up his toys, he brushes his teeth, etc...but is there any way I can further instill more? For instance, would asking him to put his socks away after I've folded them be alright? Or do you have any more ideas?

My 15 month old daughter went to the doctor today because of a cold while she was there her doctor noticed that she was not making eye contact with him and the only thing he would tell me was that he was going to run a test next week when she comes for her well baby checkup can anybody tell what might be wrong with my daughter she makes eye contact with me as far as i can tell
