Contractions usually radiate all around the belly and into your bottom and back. If it is contractions you should be able to time them. The hospital told me to come in if I have bleeding or a discharge, if my water breaks or if the contractions become more intense and last longer. (I even got to the point of a minute and a half apart lasting for three hours, but no dialation 35 weeks and three minutes apart at 34.) Hang in there and call your doctor. The nurses at the hospital will not give an answer they will check you and call the doctor. Good Luck!

i am haveing the same thing, the stabbing pains that are in the vagina make it hard to move your legs or lift them even if its right to get into the car or on the bed. at least thats how it is for me. i also have the pains above the ribs, its like the baby is pushing out really hard and then moveing her feet across kind of feels like your being sliced open, am i right? mine will get REALLY bad and then the next day they will be normal then they will get really bad again, its off and on. i have a doc appointment tomorrow to see what is really going on, but i think you should call your doc too. dont let them tell you that its normal, they told me that last time and it ended up getting SO much worse, to the point to where, now sometimes im lucky if i can walk to the bathroom. good luck

It's normal to be pain free during all 9-10 months of your pregnancy. It's also normal to be completely miserable during 9-10 months of your pregnancy. Every womans body does things differently. Those cramps and lower backaches are simple your body (your uterus) getting things in order and getting ready for baby. You're lucky you're not like my wife. no back pain, but she gets 'morning sickness' at all hours of the waking day from week 7 to week 28.... both times now!

Are you absolutely sure of your dates? You may be in prem labour or having what they call Braxton Hicks contractions. Google that. I would go to bed now and get checked in the morning by your Dr. If things develop before morning you may have to go to an Emergency Room.

I had pains in the upper part of my stomach while I was pregnant. It was my gallbladder. I had to have it removed right after she was born. 2 surgeries within 3 months of each other.
And as for the pains in your vagina I had them the last month of my pregnancy.... Everyone told me they would get worse before they got better. I would say it is everything stretching. Either go on to your dr. or tell him/her everything the next appointment.

Definately ask the Dr. and ASAP!If you don't feel like getting up to go the ER just call your nurse or the exchange & ask if it's something serious enough to go to the ER or just set up another appt with the Dr.

You could be experiencing Braxton-Hicks contractions or you could be in active labor. It is best to call your doctor and follow his advice.
