Depends on what point of coming down you mean. When you are in active labor and it is right before the pushing time frame you will feel like you have to poop!!! I thought this was the part that I feared the most, but it was contractions that hurt the most. I had my daughter naturally that is what it felt like during labor. If you are talking about when the baby drops or lightening you will start to feel more pressure in your bottom and aches (kinda) in your pelvis and groin area. You will also feel less pressure on your ribs and diaphragm. I hope this helps!!!

When a baby is positioning itself for birth there is usually great pressure in the lower abdominal area. Sometimes as it gets closer you may even feel a few sharp pains, as the cervix is preparing to open. All women are different, but this is usually how it happens. Oh....you begin to urinate a lot more! :)

hhmm

Its like removing a tampond but with a lot of pressure and when the head comes out there is relief. Like you can breath again.

It does hurt and its worth it.

If you have an epidural it kind of feels like you have to have a bowl moment or gas. But at that point its the head crowning.

A lot of pressure, especially on your bladder. I am assuming you mean when the baby "drops" into position for birth... as for the actual birth itself, I got a epideral and didn't get the whole feeling of that.

Do you mean when the head drops? Or do you mean when you are actually having the baby?
When the head drops, you just feel a lot of pressure and have to pee more.
When you actually have the baby...It hurts like hell.

When the head drops, you have to pee every couple of minutes. When the baby crowns, you have to push like a robot. Seriously: you've never felt so strong an urge.

Good luck--

My wife said it felt like pressure being taken off of stomach and esophagus, less heartburn, but intense need to urinate about every 15 minutes
