Expect more violent kicking, more discomfort, more back pain, and more stomach swelling. Just more everything, basically. Keep eating healthy and all that.
"In her wisdom, the great Earth Mother made the last days of pregnancy difficult, so that the woman would be able to face the fear of delivery just to get it over with." - Zelandoni, Earth's Children: The Shelters of Stone, written by Jane M. Auel

You'll gain more weight. They say some women loose a little before the 40th week. I'm 33 weeks and I feel the same way you feel. I seriously never expected to get this big though I am told I'm not that big I feel as big as a house.
8th month 33weeks to 36 weeks.
your baby: rapid brain growth. stronger kicks and feeling of the baby rolling around, partsof the baby may stick out of your skin. finger nails are completely grown.
you: feel random contractions. boobs may leak. may be harder to sleep comfortably. shortness of breath. eat smaller meals like 5 to 6 a day. uteris is right under your rib cage.
DR: visits every 2 wks. gain 1 lb each wk.
9th month 37 wks to 40 wks.
baby: babys full term now. lungs mature. baby gains 1/2lb a wk. baby "drops".
You: easier to breathe. may swell more. cervix will start to efface (thin) and dilate. rest often.
DR: After the 36th wk u'll go to the dr every week. you may not gain any weight you may even loose a pound or 2. decide if you will BF or bottle feed.
Labor: Reg. contractions (baby balling up with or without cramps.) More than 5 an hour. Last from 30 to 70 secs. Get worse as you move around.
Preterm labor: Contractions every 10 mins. Change is vaginal discharge. Pelvic pressure like you need to push. Lower back pain. Period type cramps. Abdominal cramps with or without diarrhea.

First of all congratulations! that is normal and as the days and months pass by you will feel more uncomfortable especially at the last month, you will be desperate to get over that stage because, 1-ancious to meet your baby, 2-you're going to pee a lot, and 3-the baby will move a lot more due to that he or she will be bigger, running out space and ready to get out! but just be pasitive and patience and remember that there is not bigger reward than seeing your baby born and then who knows you might even probably be like me sometimes "missing the belly and the baby moving inside of you" but like I said it is the greatest feeling ever which you will only understand when that time comes. There is a lot more to come which not even if I sit down and explain it to you, you would only learn and understand by going through it yourself, good luck and just get all the rest you can now. Spend time in preparing mentally because it is a challenge, so as long as everything is ok relax, sit back and enjoy the ride!

In a nutt shell - increased fatigue and uncomfortableness, weekly dr. appts, regular vaginal exams to check your cervix for dilation (about 9 months), increased back pain. At about the 36th week, the baby's head drops down low into the pelvis. This may relieve pressure on the upper abdomen and the lungs, allowing you to breathe more easily. However, the new position places more pressure on the bladder.
You may also start experiencing Braxton Hicks' contractions - the short, fairly painless uterine contractions during pregnancy that may be mistaken for labor pains. They allow the uterus to grow and help circulate blood through the uterine blood vessels.
The biggest thing you'll probaby be experiencing is excitement and anxiety leading up to birth. Anxious to see your baby and to feel (physically) somewhat normal again.
Despite all of that, when your baby is delivered and you see that sweet face, I promise you'll forget all the trials of pregnancy! At that very moment, you'll truly understand that it was all totally worth it!
My advice is to relax and enjoy your pregnancy. It will be over before you know it. After the baby's born, you'll have other things to deal with - like no sleep!
Good luck and congrats!

Yeah , I feel the same way right now. Im 7 months along too. . During the last couple of months you will feel the same, or as the baby gets lower you will feel alot more pain or pressure when the baby moves around. At least that is how it was for me. That is really the only thing that got worse.

You will get even bigger, this is the rapid growth period for babies so your baby will be putting on some pounds now. As the baby gets bigger and starts to move into position for birth, you will feel less movement because it will be too crowded for him/her to move around as much as he/she has been. Here's a good site:
