Pregnancy & Parenting - 30 November 2006

My wife and I recently took in 2 ferrets from a family that could not take care of them. At first things were great my son loved them and they love him too. Now he will run after them and throw them all over the place, grabbing them violently, and squeezing them to the point of them trying to bite him when we take them away from him. He is only 22 months old. Is this behavior changeable? will it pass? Is he too young for these pets? They pretty much leave him alone unless he is attacking them. My wife and I are very patient with him and never yell or spank. He is beginning to throw tantrums on a 4 times a week basis. getting worse. These I am not concerned about it is the behavior with the small animals that worries me. Can someone HELP me?

when i was a kid and got introuble in the neighborhood, one of the neighborhood moms would rip into me, whipped my azz and send me home where my mom would commit double jeopordy and whipped my azz again. but ill tell you this, i never threw rocks at cars again

Our daycare lady is throwing a Christmas Party for all the little ones. She is buying gifts and doing everything herself. I am not very close to her. But as a nice gesture, I was wondering what would be a nice but simple gift to get her for Christmas. Or is this too much, or not expected of me? As there are about 12 different familes showing up.

I'm due today, my sugar test 1 hour and 3 hour came out extremely high but the doctor goes 'I'm not all that concerned about it." I've been seeing spots "dance" in front of my eyes, hot flashes, extremely bad heartburn (I had heartburn and acid reflux before hand but I honestly don't believe it should be this bad.), extremely bad back aches, bad headaches and every time I mention anything like this to my doctor he goes "don't worry about it, its normal pregnancy fears." But this pain in my chest is in the back right behind my left lung.

I'm extremely worried and I know its not good for me and my baby and I've tried to relax but I can't because I'm constantly monitoring babies movement and keeping track.

Also my doctor told me that as long as I get 2 movements in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening there is nothing wrong. But my primary doc told me I should feel atleast 10 movements every hour.
I'm not a worry wart but I'm extremely nervous.

I do not know for sure yet but i think i might be pregnant but i am not sure all i know that it hurts when me and my boyfriend have sex and it has never happened to me before i have been with him for 1 1/2 year and we plan on getting married next year when i and 18 but, anyways as i was saying when we have sex it hurts and the next day i start to spot. I have not had my peirod since octber 7,2006 and i have took test and all came up neg and i am to scared to make am appt... But, the weirod thing is all of the females in my family have to get the prego test with the blood and that is the only way to find out. begining of year was on depo and then i went to pill and i stopped taking it but, i have never had a problem on these methods so i do not know what to do. asked everyone i know even my mom and dad and friends and family. My son has been with me since the day he was born, so i guess it may be my fault. But he does not seem to like anybody but me. I have to hold him all the time, if i put him in his walker while i try to cook or clean he throws the biggest fits, and will not stop crying until i am done. We play all day, he's a good and happy baby, but i think this attachment isn't normal. Am I right? please help.

Well, here's the deal. I'm 18 and really feel uncomfortable talking to my mom about this stuff. I was just wondering what the average size of a vaginal hole is, considering the girl is a virgin and hasn't used a tampon or anything. I have been getting a little worried as of lately. Can any of you women see the "hole" itself, in a relaxed position? The thing is, when pressure is exerted on mine, then it slightly opens up. It also looks small. So, what's the average size supposed to be? Mine looks to be about the size of a straw, but when it stretched to that size, it begins to hurt a little. I've only recently began questioning what is "normal" and when I look down there, you basically see NO hole, but once I push against the flesh, it opens up. I can place one finger in, not comfortably, and certainly not pleasurably. I will go to a gyno when I am 21, but right now, I am just curious. Anything is appreciated

I often hear this cheap talk from politicians and other "policy makers". Yet they don't have the guts to legislate mandatory seat belts for school buses (where 17,000 children are injured each year - most injuries due to the lack of restraining belts) or provide adequate healthcare for low to middle income children. Am I the only one who cringes when I hear such doublespeak in the media?

I keep seeing places online where people are trashing Wal-Mart and telling people not to shop there, because they are greedy and only have their own interest at heart. I live in a small, rural area, so it is not like I have a huge selection for places to shop. We don't have a Target, K-Mart, Cosco, or any of those type places. It is either Wal-Mart or Brookshires (a grocery store) and Brookshires doesn't have clothes, automotive, crafts and stuff like that, plus they are alot more expensive than Wal-Mart. Plus, I just like Wal-Mart.

I am just curious what the big issue against Wal-Mart is all about. I have never really had a problem with them personally.

ok we are ttc for 1 year and a 1/2. and we had intercourse two days before the best fertile day, on the best fertile day,the day i got my period, a day before my period ended, two days after my period ended 4-5 days after period ended all this month.
