Yes, a 16-year-old CAN fall in love with an 18-year-old. The real question is, SHOULD a 16-year-old fall in love with an 18-year-old. Or, more importantly, should the 18-year-old love the 16-year-old?

Yes, you can. When I was 16 I fell in love with a 21 year old. Now I am 20 and he's 25, and we're still in love.

OK. I don't understand why this question is under toddler & preschooler.BUT.. I did. I fell in love with my hubby at 16. He was 18. We married at 17 and 19. We are still married and still very much in love. He is 28 and I am 25 almost 26. It can happen and it does happen everyday!

yah i think so. i was 16 when i fell in love with an 18 year old, its been 7 years now and we are happily married with 3 children.

I FEEL NOBODY REALLY KNOWS LOVES UNTIL THE AGE OF 23. AFTER 18 YOU CAN GET CIGS...AFTER 21 YOU CAN BUY BEER.
IF YOU KNOW YOUR SON NEITHER DRINKS OR SMOKES...THEN YEA, MAYBE CONSIDER IT LOVE OR MAYBE JUST LUST.
BUT MOST TEEN BOYS USE GIRLS TO GET WHAT THEY WANT. NO OFFENSE ON YOUR ADOLESCENT, OR YOU PLEASE.

some people will say no but. i think it can happen. i mean u heard of mary k laterno right? she was a teacher at my school when i was in elementry school. that had sex with a student... well she got married to that kid when he was old enough to get married and when she got out of prison. i dont really think thats the right way to fall in love.. and its kinda sick but its obviosly love since he claimed he thought of her every day and they are now married.... again sick tho... but theres nothing wrong with a 16 year old and a 18 year old loving eachother... just be sure to be safe.

Yes that is not impossible however, at 16 years of age you are still a minor. If you was too date a 18 yr old you could get that individual in alot of trouble...

Never, unless you want to see what the inside of a jail cell looks like. 18 years old is the cutoff. Anything below 18 years old is jail bait.
