My son was taught in 5th grade, without any warning, and brought home a pamphlet with a lot of information no 10 year old needs to know. The ONLY good thing they did was separate the boys from the girls. I was furious that they gave no warning to the parents.

In the 5th grade they told us about how our body's were changing, they did separate the boys and girls but, told us all the same things. The girls did still learn about how a boys body changes and they did tell the boys how the girls body was changing too.
In the 6st grade the students who were suspected of already having sex had a class together, but that didn't last long and it was dropped.
The next time I herd about it was in the 9th grade in health class.

I learned it all in the 8th grade. Then we revieved in in health class in high school junior year. to brush up. 5th grade was when I learned about a girl's body growing up, and my mom and I attended this mother daughter tea at school. I didn't learn sex ed yet at that grade so that's weird how people say they learned it at that age. At that age, people usually don't like guys! So that's weird. Maybe they got it confused with that mother-daughter tea thing I was talking about.

I received sex ed in 5th grade and we did learn about everything. I do think it was way too much information for a 10yr old. We were separated boys from girls and told everything from periods to ejaculations. It was horrible!!!!!!!

I was in the sixth grade. They told us everything. We had a girl's class, a boy's class, and then a class together. The answered all questions honestly. They stressed that abstinence was the ONLY way to avoid pregnancy and STD's but they ALSO provided information about ways to protect yourself if you do have sex.

Of course, this was twenty years ago so I don't know how they do things now.

They tell you where baby's come from and how there made and if you don't already know the difference between boys and girls.
