The coach just told him and another two boys, that they can't play.
I'm so upsept, he was really excited about it. Do you think I'm over reacting? or should I talk to his coach. My son hasn't say anything, but I know he's hurt. He is a pre-teen

I'm 14 weeks along and I've lost 4 pounds in the past two weeks. I saw the doctor on Monday and he gave me a shot for migraines and put me on Reglan.....I only feel sick when I eat and it's usually about an hour or so after, any suggestions to help? I'm hungry but I'm sick of feeling sick and throwing up, what can I do? The medicine isn't working yet, should I give it more time or call the doctor again?

I was reading some of the questions about white discharge! Can you get that at the early stage of pregnancy? I've never heard of that before, I know you can spot which is red/brown but i've never heard of getting white discharge at the beginning of pregnancy?

Is there a good rule of thumb to know who much to spend on a children's birthday party gift? I don't want to seem cheap but I also don't want to spend too much either. Specifically, I have young kids and we are now going to a lot of parties for his class mates. We live in an area with mixed income levels and we are about in the middle.

ok, i dont get this. i went to the hosptial about 2 weeks ago thinking i was in labor,which i wasnt. the Dr checked my cervix and i was about 1 cm dilated. yesterday i went to the Dr for my 39 week check up and he checked my cervix and he said i was still closed. at my OB office their are 7 Drs, i just dont have one, so their were two different Dr's who checked me. the one who as on call at the hospital and the one who was working in the office yesterday. how can i be 1cm dialted and two weeks later im closed? i dont get it.

My son is friends with a little boy "peter" he comes from a large family (6 others) and doesnt seem to have much in the way of toys clothes ect.The parents are how do i say bit on the rough side!!theyre quite tough with the kids eg smacking them on the head if they do something wrong(they bit scary actually i wouldnt want to get on the wrong side of them)he,s a lovely little guy but came to the door for my son yesterday with a thin jacket that you could shoot peas through. (we live in scotland)He came in to wait and was sitting shaking with the cold. I have another friend who has twin boys and she gives me a lot of clothes theyve outgrown.Was wondering how to ask this mother if she wants them without offending.Ended up giving him one of my sons jumpers to wear to school and he was so grateful i had a lump in my throat.Told him if he liked it that much he could keep it as my son never wears it which wasnt true.Now worried about what he said about jumper when he went home.any advice ??

They are coming over to babysit my 2 1/2 month old baby tonight. They are coming over at 7:00 and her bedtime is 8:00. We have been doing a bedtime routine (bath, bottle, story, snuggle, bed)..it takes about an hour and it's been working like a charm (sleeping through the night finally). I really want them to follow the routine, but that means they won't get much play time with her...they're going to be basically just coming over (driving 20 min) to put her to bed and sit around and wait for us to come home. Should I insist that they follow the routine? Or should I just let it go for one night and let them play with their grand daughter?

I have been thinking about having another baby, this would be our 3rd. My husband says no. But a few months ago, we had a little scare and we were both kind of disappointed when I started. I cant get him on board with me and I cant just say OK no more kids then just because thats what he wants. I also need to know what questions to ask myself as to why I would like to have a 3rd child. My oldest is 8 and my youngest is 6 and I work from home. Financially we are ok, not really struggling but not rich by any means. PLEASE HELP ME AND HUBBY MEET IN THE MIDDLE???

My son is 15 weeks old and has always wanted to eat at the same times usually. Well now we have upgraded to bigger bottles and he is chowing them down! It just seems like he is hungry all the time so for the past few weeks I have been giving him a tablespoon of rice cereal in his bottles at night before he goes to bed. But during the day he is still eating all the time. Should I start giving him cereal during the day in his bottles or even spoon feeding it? Or should I try baby food?

I have a 12 yo daughter that started wearing bras a month ago. She doesn't like it that much, but I thought it was time for her to get started. She resisted a bit, but no big problem, she's a very good girl and I treat her with much love. She promised me she won't disobey and will try to get used to her bras. But sometimes she tries some tricks: She doesn't disobey or make fusses, but sometimes she "forgets" to put her bra on. Then, she gets close to me so that I can see she's braless and maybe let it pass. When I tell her she's braless, she says Oh I forgot. And I make her put it on.
Another trick is resisting learning how to put her bras on. She says it's kinda hard and says I gota help her. Well, I do, but this can't go forever.
Of course, those are childish things and I don't see any big problem, but I'd like opinions on how to handle this situation.

I know that the umbilical cord is tied off and cut, seperating the Mother and Child. What happens to the part that is attached to the Mother? Does it fall off, is it cut off or is it placed back inside the Mother.

How long is it and what is it attached to?

I know this is a weird question coming from a guy but I really don't know. I asked my girlfriend who has 2 kids and she didn't even know. She slept through it.

I'd really like to know and after the smart a** answers (which are pretty funny sometimes), I can find out the truth.

I was thinking about getting an ovulation test, b/c my husband and I are trying to have another baby. I have heard that if you have sex the day or the day after you start ovulating its possible to conceive a boy is that true?? And how exactly does the ovulation test work?? I hope someone can help me. I had unprotected sex on Sat and Sun morning which were the last days of my period. I then developed a tummy upset and vomitted all day Sunday.I have not been sick since but it is now Thursday and I cant shake the sicky feeling and Im tired all the time, Im confused!!! Could I just have the after affects of tummy bug or really early signs of pregnancy?? If Im pregnant then I only concieved 5 days ago maximum!! Im not sure if its possible 2 concieve towards the end of a period or if its possible 2 have symptoms of pregnancy so soon!!

She likes cut up chicken nuggets and french fries and other things like that. What is something easy and healthy for her to eat?

Ps. she is picky I tried greenbeans and little peaches cut up and vienna sausages.she hates them.
