Anyone else's tailbone hurt during pregnancy? I'm 14 weeks and I sit at work and it is really bothering me. Anybody else experience this? Also, is it normal to feel kinda like a pinching feeling (hard to describe) in the vagina area? Thanks for the answers♥

Is this your first pregnancy? I had the pinching with my first. It was nothing to worry about. My doc said it was normal - just everything is streching.

Also, your bones are moving and the horome relaxin is entering your body. It will affect your joints and muscles making you ache more. But, the second trimester is perfect!

Heating pads and warm baths are perfectly okay, the point behind that is doctors don't want you to do anything that will significantly increase your body temperature. I use a heating pad set on low for my back and I also take the occasional soak in the bath tub with a few candle lit and just relax. I'm 14 weeks as well and odds are the back pain will only get worse :( Try Icy/Hot patches on your back during your work day, they work miracles!!! Good luck

Try sitting backwards in a chair and leaning forward against the back of the chair. It feels a lot better!! A pillow also helps if you're gonna sit in the chair normally.
It also might help to find a different chair that's more comfortable for you and bring it to work, that is if they allow that.

Good Luck!

Ya, mine was hurting a lot. I would try a heating pad, but that only worked for me some of the time. Try some tylenol. That might help the pain. Also when I would go to my classes in college, I would have to take a pillow to put on my chair. That would help too. Good luck.
