Pregnancy & Parenting - 2 November 2006

I know I'm crazy. But I have an 11 year old daughter and no one except a neighbor we've known for years, and grandparents (and maybe an aunt/uncle) have watched her! No daycares, or other people. My son is 1 and I am on my way to getting a high paying job (the only reason I would go back to work from staying at home) b/c it wouldn't be worth it for little pay to pay for daycare.
I'm too scared to hire someone to come into my home, or their home or do daycare (I'd have to find someone I don't know) .

I dont' know if I can do it! Some advice...
I hear too much crud out there.

I have her eyes checked every doctor visit..he says everything looks good...but I don't understand is why the white part of one of her eyes is a little discolored...like a grey color...cloudy almost...has always been like this...one eye is hazel and the other is black..you can't see her pupil...should I be more concerned?

well i have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for almost 2 months or more i was suposed to get my period on the 14th of oct. but to my suprise i still havnt gotten it at all im scared to death and im not sure what to do .. i havnt really had all of the symtoms of being pregnate...i have had to pee more not a whole whole lot but more, i have felt sick sometimes like to where i FEEL like i wanna throw up but it doesnt happen much, my breasts do hurt they just started hurting a couple of days ago, i have had some pains in my stomach mot alot but some and i have been a little tired.. i havnt took a test yet im almost scared to take one me and my friend are suposed to do it together soon...i am about 3 weeks late its been like 47day since my last period

I found out the hospital that will deliver my baby is out-of-network with my insurance that my OB is affiliated to. Do you think it's a hassle to switch OB? I refuse to pay more than I have to. I've only seen her twice so far and I'm just 9 weeks along. I also signed a consent form for the delivery but that's not written on stone right until the services are performed? Pls help

I am 35 weeks pregnant and my doctor said that he wants to induce at 38 weeks because I "have a large baby". Is this normal, or is my doctor just in a hurry to get the baby here? I don't have high blood pressure or anything like that, just larger than other women that are 35 weeks along. Has this happened to anyone else?

I am unable to feed him with breastmilk as it is not sufficient for him, so trying to feed him with formula. I am giving solids and he likes it. I tried different nipples,different bottles,different types of formula. He drinks water with bottle but not formula. He starts crying when I get formula.If I feed with force he dont throwup later, but cries a lot. I even tried with sugar, chocolate syrup but of no use. Presently I am feeding him at night and sometimes in daytime if he is crying a lot due to hunger. I tried him when he is very much hungry but no use. I tried with cup but he is unable to drink . I just want to stop breastfeeding becoz I want to work. Help me giving some tips to feed him formula in bottle.

I am not sure where to start. My son is six yrs old and in 1st grade. We have been having behavior problems for the last year or so. He does not do anything mean or hateful he just does not follow directions and is a class clown, not to mention he talks non stop. I have been very concerend and have talked to his teachers several times, she has reassured me he will grow out of it. I have noticed things have gotten progressively worse and still his teacher reassures me he's fine. She says he does his work and is extremely bright. The problem is out of no where today I get a note from the teacher saying my son has held siscors up to another childs throat. I am beside myself. I have taken away every toy and put him to bed early. I don't know what to do or where this came from. I know he has no clue about how badly he could have hurt the child and now I am scared. He is so easy going and fun loving I don't know what happened. Please only serious responses.
Where do I go from here?

Would you be interested in a story about a twelve year old girl who runs away from her home with her sisters, aged 2 and 0, and goes to Calfiornia by train with her own money because her mom abuses them? Then she finds a boy named Blaze, who she thinks is really cute and Blaze lets her and her sisters stay with him (he is the same age as the girl, Molly.) Blaze and Molly end up getting married at the age of fourteen. Then Molly gets pregnant and has a baby at fifteen. Now Molly and Blaze takes Molly's mom to court to get Molly's younger sisters, now 3 and 5, back. What do you think? I am still working on it and I am thinking about publishing it...oh yeah, then Molly gets famous for singing and they end up rich...but yeah...I am still working on it. There is a lot more to the story than that, though. If you don't like those kind of stories, than what kind of a book would you be interested in?

*By the way, if you haven't guessed, I like to write stories. Lol!

haha once I was at a basket ball game, and there was this girl in front of my who had a HUGE butt crack showing. So me and my friend took little bits of granola bar, and we started throwing them at her, seeing if they could go in. that sounds stupid, but it was so funny, especially because the girl didn't notice, and there was a lot of granola in her crack. wonder if she was confused later on? lmao.

I am on Clomid. My doc did an ultrasound and found a couple follicles that are only around 1cm...i think they should be 2 ideally. This was on Monday. Is there a chance that they will still grow a little and I'll ovulate late...or will they just die off shortly? I guess i'm wondering if they eventually give up and stop growing, or if they will eventually release at a bigger size. Any clomid users have this happen?

I know i have to wait for quite some time before im able to take a home pregnancy test for my hormone levels to provide an accurate answer.. but what about a blood test with my doctor? Is it true that you can only get pregenant on your most fertile days (ovulation)? We are working very hard at all of this and enjoying it all the same!!

Im 5'6 and before I got pregnant I weighed about 132 pounds. Im now 6 1/2 months pregnant and I now weigh 153 pounds. I weigh myself once a week and every week I gain about 2 to 3 pounds. Im scared by the end of my pregnancy I will weigh around 175 to 180. Is it normal to gain 40-45 pounds? Because I heard that the normal weight gain is abour 30-35 pounds. If so should I cut back on my food intake or is this weight gain normal?
