To all the people who are answering and trying to tell me what to do with MY life, that's not the question at hand. For those people who want to pry and try to make someone feel bad about themselves, **** OFF, thats not what I came here for. I wasn't using protection the first time, and yes that was wrong. This time I was and the pills were not effective at preventing pregnancy. And NO I AM NOT READY TO HAVE A CHILD, and that's my own business none of yours. No, please answer the question that is being asked of you, if you can't then find another person to piss off. Have a nice day

possibility of infection and scar tissue. once scar tissue starts developing it can be difficult for the fetus to survive in the uterus. since this will be your 2nd you should really think about another form of BC. i SERIOUSLY caution patients after 3 abortions.
i've had patients that had 3-10 abortions and they conceived with no problem.

Who give you people the right to judge? If you can not conceive, it's your pain and burden to carry, not society. However, don't judge another woman for what she chooses to do with her pregnancy. It's her RIGHT! Don't become overly sensitive when another woman makes a decision that is right for her. It's her body and her right to chose. Why should she take into consideration the barren women, before making her choices? You people are narcissistic and arrogant.Go get a life.

Nowaday with the advances in medical procedures there is no risk to furture pregnancies with multiple abortions as long as you go to a dr that specializes in doing them and get the follow up care needed afterwards to check for infections. Along time ago there where many risks like an increased chance of miscarriage and an incompetent cervix but now there are no risks. It is the same as having a D&C done that is exactly the procedure used to do an early abortion. But if you do have concerns when you go to have it done discuss it with the doctor or nurse.
Good Luck and Best Wishes

As long as the abortion is "trouble" free - as in a reputable establishment with clean sterile equipment and staff that know what they are doing one or two abortions will not affect your future attempt to have children. If the abortion has complications (such as piercing/puncturing of the womb, infection etc - all of which should be explained before the abortion i think) then that may have some bearing on future pregnancies.. but if its a reputable establishment then i'm sure it'll be ok.
Good for you for standing up for yourself too! - your choice is just that... YOUR choice!
Best of luck.

First of all, it is your decision and nobody elses. I think you are being mature realizing you are not ready for a baby yet. It is your body, and you do what YOU feel is right. I think that as long as the procedures are done by a doctor, you should be okay to have children in the future unless your doc tells you otherwise. I have read up on this though, and there is no proof abortions affect having future children. try not to worry!

It is every woman's right to choose. I am for abortion. If birth control pills are failing you maybe your doctor should put you on the shot. I was on the shot for 3 years and did not get pregnant. Right now i am on no form of birth control haven't been in 6 years and we use the pull put method and i haven't had another child since my son (he was planned)
what about the IUD? Or Something that lasts for years?
Go to http://www.kcrh.com (It is a clinic in knoxville, tennessee)- (abortion clinic)
Q | Will I be able to get pregnant after my abortion?
A | There is no evidence of fertility or childbearing problems after on abortion. Having an abortion does not interfere with your ability to have children in the future.
Good luck

they say that having one or two has no effect and is comparable to not having them at all.

Most abortiosn are a DNC. I had a misscarriage and needed a dnc, my OB told me they can leave alot of scaring which may lead to problems concieving in the future, although I had no problems. Why have 2 abortions & plan to become pregnant later... at least give this baby a chance & give it up for adoption! Use protection

It could have serious effects on your body and you may never be able to conceive again. Just having one abortion could do that. Serious complications can come from abortion. I don't think that abortions are right in any way, but I'm not going to lecture you - it's your decision. But it can be quite serious and you could be keeping yourself from further pregnancies.
