Pregnancy & Parenting - 22 October 2006

okay, so I got the prenancy symptoms.
- nausea
-fatigue
-vomitting
-lower back aches
-cramps
-swollen breast
-cravings

and so you all know that it also mean that your menstrul
is coming . So it did came, but very light. not really.
and for the symptoms, it said you'll bleed or whatever
like you are on your period for about a good 1 - 2 days.
but it like my 5th day already and it still light, and so i wonder
am i not pregnant.. or is it a miscarriage. because my symtoms
went away.
out. it usually stop around the fourth day with a heavy menstrul and
then it stop. but this is light very like pink or light orange or something.

What's with all the murders going on. it seems like everytime i turn on the world news someone killed someone. what is going on with the world? well since there has been all of these murders where people are killing pregnant people. or killing moms for there children. my wife wont answer the door. And she always keeps the door locked. is she being paranoid or should we worry? also since there has been all them school killings she's talking about homeschooling our kid. (it isnt born yet, she's 5 months pregnant) again i ask should we worry?

Engorgement? My daughter now sleeps through the night, she is almost 12 weeks old and sleeps until between 5-7am depending on what time I put her down and no longer wakes up during the night for a feed. By the time it's around 3-4am (which was her usual wake up time for a feed) I am completely engorged and rock-hard so I tickle her lips to wake her up and she doesn't even budge, so instead I get up to pump it all out. Any tips... or is this how it'll be until I wean her off???

I really am scared now. I had unprotected sex on my period! I went to take a shower and I had now it went away and I'm afraid, I heard that guys have precum too, is it possible for that to get in me and impregnate me,Oh my I'm freaking out and I don't know what to do, I'm wondering if this is his way of making me never leave him but he refused to wear one. Hi everyone, I am sitting here and still wondering what went wrong with why we didn't conceive and wondering if someone could shed some light. My story is this: We had a baby last December, and after I took the mini pill for 8 mths, then switched to Yasmine for only 1 mth. I stopped the pill 9/21 and got my cycle 9/24. I ovulated 10/7 and husband and i had unprotected sex that whole wknd, but didn't conceive! I am going crazy trying to figure out why, and its really haunting me! I have 3 children and have always gotten pregnant when I wanted to, right away. When we conceived our last baby I was on lo/ovral pill for only 1 mth and got preggo the very next month! So, whats different now? Does being on the pill for 9 mths have anything to do with it? If so, why? Because I know for 100% fact I ovulated, so how could it have been the pill? Does the pill affect the lining of the uterous? My doc even said you can conceive as soon as u stop the pill. So what happened? I can't seem to move on.

What can I do to help foster her early development? I read at age 3 as well and I do not want her to be bored in school. She's in a preschool now and knows more than all the other kids her age. She is starting to regress because the other kids are not as advanced. How do I keep her from baby talking and just pointing at things? She never used to do that. I noticed children at her preschool doing it and I think that's why she's doing it.

What do you think?
Recently in England parents have been protesting that they have a right to know if their children are going to have an abortion. Personally i think that's wrong, if the girl chooses to have an abortion without her parents knowledge that is her choice and the doctors shouldn't risk the confidentiality of the patient doctor trust.
But what do you think about the hole abortion and teen pregnancy thing?

What's wrong with walking? The kids are bunched up in a stroller and almost as big as the parent. They look like 5-7 years old. That's wierd to me, and maybe one reason why kids are getting bigger and bigger...lack of exercise. I have a 3yr old. If we go to the mall, we may walk around for 2 hrs to shop, but she walks.

...sleeps about 3-4 hrs a day. He is always trying to poop and is constantly grunting, clenching his fists and bringing his legs to his chest. I have told the dr I think he has colic. She is not concerned about his vomiting because he is gaining weight. If we try to lay him down not matter how long it has been since his last bottle he throws up. I know something is wrong with him. We go to the dr tomorrow and I am not leaving until she finds out what is wrong with him. Anyone else have this happen with their baby or any advice?

of u got pregnant on the first try as in the first month of trying to concieve im just wondering how comman it is cause im 16 i thought i was pregnant last month but the blood test revieled i wasnt but before i had the blood test we had done it the night b4 i went for it cause i had started to bleed and we wanted the baby so i was scared i know what we did was stupid but about 2 weeks later or somethin like that the condom broke and now im missing my period again and i cant get a preg test till friday when my boyfriend gets paid so im just wonderin how many women got preg in the first month without calculating ovulation no matter what age plz thanks no bull **** plz yes i will tell my mom just as soon as i know for sure but at the moment shes out of town for the week so i cant very well ask her for help anyway

I've seen formulas on the shelf for one year olds to two year olds. Is thatr a waste of money? Been thinking about switching my 1 year old from milk to this formula.

Here is my situation... I am 34 years old and NEVER have been pregnant nor taken birth control. I have been trying to conceive for several months now and have been unsuccessful.

For about a year, I have been pretty regular with my periods, usually 27-30 day cycles. Well, up until 2 months ago... I was late and didn't start until day 38. Then last month I was late again and didn't start until day 42 (Which is VERY unusual for me).

Well I had sex on the day my last period ended. Then again 5 days later after period ended. Well, that was 5 days ago, and I have had ALOT of cervial mucus this week, which has been getting thicker over the past 4 days. And I noticed last night while getting comfy in bed that my breast were just a tad bit sore... not ALOT but enough to notice.

My question is... since my periods have been off, this means ovulation could be off correct? And if so, what is the probabilty that I could have gotten pregnant?

How are you supposed to pay your mortgage and household bills, food etc?

I'm expecting my first baby in December. My partner is a barman on a low wage. He is desperately trying to find a better paid job but with no success right now.

There is no way we will be able to cover all our necessary bills on his wage because it is too low. I'm not talking about luxuries. Just food, roof over our head, clothing heating etc.

I'll have to go back to work when my baby is about 3-4 months old because I have no choice. I hate the idea and would love to stay home with him but otherwise we will not be able to pau our mortgage and lose our home and I don't want my child to be brought up in a homeless shelter!

Incidentally, before you say "you should have planned this before you had the baby" - I was told I couldn't have kids so we were not "planning" a baby, we were "planning" a childless life! I earned more than my partner in the job I was doing at the time.

i had my period on the 17th, i was surprised that it was very light, reddish light, lasted only for 2 days, on the 19th i took a pregnancy test and it cam out negative, i am on birth control pills and i started taking them again today, i have no pregnancy symptoms except very mild breast sore. do you think these are pregnancy symptoms because i can't differentiate between what they call implantation bleeding and period, it came exactly the same day it's supposed to. can you please help?
