Pregnancy & Parenting - 21 October 2006

I'm thinking of starting my 3 1/2 year old daughter in a dance class. But I'm worried that it might be too early and a waste of time and money until she is older. At what age would a dance class be less like a day care and more serious and skill teaching? Not that she's going to become a professional, but don't most people that you hear are successful at things usually start around 3 or 4? Also what are good ages to start sports, swimming, singing, music lessons, and other activities? No, I'm not going to have her to do all of these, I'm just wondering. And how do you know what activities your child is going to enjoy and be good at, when they say they like doing everything? Please no rude comments. I know she still needs to be a kid, I just want her to have an actvity to do once a week and look forward to. Thanks for advice and suggestions.

I'm regular cycle,we r trying for a baby...my last Lmp was on 20th sept after some days of my ovalation i felt down from stairs...on 16th oct i got 2 spot of brown blood...i was having pain in my nipples & breast look enlarge...but know i have little bit pain in my nipples but my breast is same ...i'm 2 days late for my periods... i have to take the test but i'm affriad b\c i fell down ...can anyone let me know that if i'm pregnant my baby is save or not???

My one year old son has six teeth and I am trying to get him off the bottle but he refuse a sippy cup. He will take juice from a sippy but not milk. I have tried almost every kind of sippy and as soon as he tastes that it is milk and not juice he throws the cup and will not drink it. Any suggestions would be nice.

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about six months now. We are both in our 20s. When he was 13 he had a football accident and lost one of his testicals. The dr. said that he would be able to have kids. He refuses to get a sperm count. I think hes scared to find out hes the reason why we arnt getting pregnant. I just want to know if his sperm count has been cut in half because of this and if anyone knows anything that could raise his sperm count!!! thank you!

Well I've been on the pill for about 8 months now. I have never missed a pill, and I take it every single day at the same exact time. Still I'm growing a bit concerned about pregnancy. My breasts are swollen and tender, I've getting migraines, strange food cravings, nausea...and I'm sitting here thinking "wait a minute, I've been through this before".

My question is not "could I be pregnant", so please don't start responding in regards to my symptom list; my question is: If I AM preggers, what are the dangers of having continued the pill? What possible birth defects or complications may arise because of this?

I've stopped the pill and reverted back to condoms until I know for sure if I'm pregnant or not...but I've already miscarried twice in my young life...and would like to take the best care of this potential child by knowing my risks.

I'm about to give birth and am sick of people telling me about these women in china who supposedly give birth while working in the paddy fields, hand the newborn over to an older family member then carry on picking/planting rice. I'm convinced its a myth or if not then the mortality rate amongst the women and new born babies must have been pretty high. Is there any documentation out there about this?

I am a sort of teen, just turned 18 and i have a boyfriend. he is called Dan.i dont know what i should do. he is nice and i love him but when he gets angry, i get really scared,

I have a four year old who is attending a Pre-K class at the local Lower Elementary School. They will be having a "Fall Party" on Halloween day. This is what they have to say about bringing snacks to school for the kids to hand out to their friends: "As you know, our school system is promoting HEALTHY snacks for out students to consume. Beacuse this is a special holiday for those of you who celebrate Halloween, you will be allowed to send ONLY individually wrapped treats for your chils to distribute at school. NO CUPCAKES will be allowed. Please keep in mind to try to send HEALTHY treats.

I know my cycle verry well and I know my fertile time and when I ovulate. This is my 1st month of trying to concieve and keeping track of my cervics position and vaginal mucus. I ovulated 2 days ago but still have fertile clear stretchy egg-white mucus. I know for a fact that I have already ovulated. How long after ovulation is your mucus still like this? Could it be a sign of fertilization? I know the signs of implantation and its still to early for that.

My husband and I have not had any luck conceiving, and I have been secretly relieved. Now we are at the point of taking fertility treatments and everytime I take the pills I feel sick to my stomach about it. Marriage is supposed to grant the privileges of companionship, a socially-acceptable sexual outlet, and procreation. Me and my ex gf were fooling about around july 20+. we didnt not have a intercourse however i m afraid my precum would haf entered her vigina. after the incident she went for a intensive camp physical trainin which cause her to miss her period but however came 3 weeks late in mid august. she however missed the september period and now it is october and she still hasnt had her period. she said it maybe due to study stress as her final exams is around early october and she have not felt anyting strange and non of the pregnancy symptoms happen. but until today which is 21 october her period is still late. is she pregnant? what r the chances tat she is pregnant. i m reali worried because of this. please help me
