You can go to your local police department and/or fire department and they will look at you chid in the car seat to help you determine if her car seat needs to be upgraded. They are trained in doing this and will gladly help you. Will take two minutes to look and adjust as needed and they will enjoy knowing they helped a child stay safe

As long as she is within the recommened weight and height range you don't need to change her into a bigger seat. But for comfort and peace of mind you may want to. Convertible seats that can face backward and forward are made to accomodate any age of child from birth all the way until they are 40 lbs. I have always put my daughters in a rear facing convertible seat around the same age your daughter is. Once they could sit up in a shopping cart seat I stopped using the infant car seat as a carrier anyways. Also I was concerned about bumping their feet, that stuck out the bottom, on everything.

I believe it's 20lbs not sure on length or if they have a law, rule for length but the weight I believe 20lbs I think you are able to put them in a front facing car seat, sometimes on the side it will say how much the carseat holds. If she is already in a front facing car seat she is fine it will just be more comfortable once she start getting taller

You need to check your carseat weight limit. If your daughter is over the weight...then you need to get a bigger carseat. Every carseat has the weight on the boxes when you purchase them. That is what you go by.

there are guidelines set by the manufacture for appropriate carseats based on the weight of your child. if her feet are hang over just a little bit, i think its ok, but make sure she is still in the correct weight range for that carseat. its awesome that you love your daughter so much to be concerned about this!!!

You should get a convertible car seat. We have one that is used as a forward and rear facing seat as well as a booster seat. If she is still in a travel system car seat (rear facing only and can be carried) it is recommended they be taken out at six months by doctors. Not only is that uncomfortable--it could be dangerous. Best of Luck!

No because if she is in a bigger carseat than if u crash she could fly out and die or get hurt very bad and u would be up all night thinking about her

When you bought your car seat it should have had the min and max age of the child stated either on the box, instructions or seat. I would check it and see.

the place i stay it incredibly is a criminal offense to place a newborn interior the booster seat till 4 years previous. and that they might desire to be rear dealing with till a million year and 20 kilos. Booster seat are frequently seats wihtout harnesses and you employ the seatrbelt in basic terms, the seat jsut boosts tehm up so teh seat belt fits them good.

If your daughter is not 20 pounds then you no you don't need one until she is 20 pounds or 1 year old unless you want to change it but she will still have to ride facing backwards until she's 1 year. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!
