Pregnancy & Parenting - 15 October 2006

I am going away with my husband on a get-away w/out the kids for 5 days. I am planning on pumping while I am gone so that I continue to produce milk. I am wondering if my son (who is 4 months) will nurse once I return, or if it's even feasable to want this to work out. Any advice would be wonderful!!!!!

I was wondering if someone could get pregnant from semen coming in contact with the outside of the vagina without actual intercourse. This took place about a week after my period ended. I've been having sharp stomach pains, bloating, and thick vaginal discharge. Also, my urine is cloudy. My friends all tell me I'm being paranoid and that I didn't even have sex so how could I be. I'm just really scared and would like some advice. Thanks.

some people have told me 1 or 2 months is okay that seems way too early and I thought that could cause early weight gain, what I thought is more like 4 or 5 months old, when did you start?

I have to somehow name my future son/daughter (and I am trying to conceive) after my mentor Steve Irwin. I have always planned to name my daughter "Bindi" but I do not LOVE the name Steve for a baby......any ideas as what a first name could be in memory of Steve, like any other cool versions of this name? And it cannot be a middle name either as I am saving the middle name for my Dad. Thank you sooooo much

My husband and I will name our daughter, if God decides to give us one, Bindi, after Steve Irwins daughter. We have always planned to do this after he announced her birth in 1998. Now it seems more important somehow. Anyway, what middle name goes with this? I don't want to name her Bindi Sue.....any good ideas? Thank you!

Me and my fiance had unprotected sex two days before ovulation, which I have heard is a fertile day for a woman. Do I have good chances of being pregnant? I was on the pill for about six months and just stopped a month ago, will that hurt the chances of becoming pregnant this soon?

My little girl is sooo fussy at night and early morning to wear she just wants to cry. I don't think its colic.. People have told me to keep her more awake during the day, well i would LOVE to do that but I can't. I talk to her, I move her around..I TRY but nothing works. (and i know that newborns sleep about 18 hours out of the day and I know i cant put her on a schedule) but i just want to TRY to keep her awake more during the day..any tips would be great!

She has been sleeping 12 hrs at nite since 2mths old but getting her to nap can be very challeninging at times. She usually only naps for 25-30 min at a time an hour if I am lucky..and usually only once a day...I put her in her crib as soon as she shows signs of being tired(rubbing eyes etc) but she usally just rolls around and cooes once she is in there...any suggestions...

Hello, I was wondering what you think about this, my lmp was September 22, i run on anywere from 28-35 day cycles, me and my husband are trying to have a baby starting like 3 days ago i have had to urinate frequently, mms make me sick, and i get tired so easily just by going shopping or soemthing even after a good nties rest i am ready for a nap, Do you think i could be prego i want to try to wait until after my mised period b/4 i test, Do you beileve in signs???? The foods i bought was apples, stuffed chicken with broccoli and cheese,baked potato w/ sour cream, bean burrito, turkey pot pies, instant lunch noodles beef and chicken. And every morning i usually get a bagel with cream cheese.

I was just curious...I've seen a lot of suprising things on here and wanted to know what other stay at home moms do.

Is you home clean for the majority of the time? Why or why not?

Do you cook every night? Why or why not?

Do you take care of the finances?

What do you do (other then cook and clean all day...if you even do that) all day?

AND

Do you expect your husband to come home and clean? Of course help with dishes or evening stuff but do you expect him to tidy up the house--if it's not his mess?

More like angry. My husband and I are at the pharmacy- another couple with a two year old adorable little boy also were waiting. The boy is shining a cute smile at us- and I say Hi to him, mom snatches him up and slams him in a chair. He cries. Mom tells him to shut the F*** up or shes going to kick his teeth down his throat! IN PUBLIC!! The dad says NOTHING!! And shes pregnant! I wanted to snatch the kid from her and RUN!!
