I have no idea if this music would be appropiate, I have never listened to it. My son is 10. Thank you for your input.

How do you explain this when the baby is 3 weeks, has no colic, throws out pacifier after 3-4 suck, will accept fomula or breastfed.

She'll be breastfed then have an additional 4 ounces of formula milk. Then she'll throw most of it out later.

I have tried making friends with other moms so my daughter can have someone to play with. I can't do playgroups because I don't have a car during the day. When I do see a mom at the park and our kids are playing well together, the mom and I have a nice conversation. On a few occasions I've casually given my phone number out and suggested perhaps our kids can get together for a playdate. No one has called. Maybe that's not safe in today's world (?) I'm starting my daughter in a gymnastics class tomorrow and I don't want to look like a fool giving out my # again. Any ideas?

My son who is 19 months old fell down and twisted his foot. We took him to the hospital and had his entire leg and hip region x-rayed. He also had a catscan just to make sure there was nothing there. Nothing is broken or dislocated, nothing even swelled up, but now he will not walk on it at all. When he stands, he holds his foot up. I know he is not in pain, I can feel all around on his foot and he never makes a face or noise. But I cannot get him to walk again. This happened a week ago. Does anyone have any ideas or similar stories? Maybe this is more common than I think it is. I really wasn't too worried about it seeing as toddlers fall all of the time. But when he refused to bear any weight on it, my husband and I became concerned. Now all our little boy will do is crawl. He can stand, but like I said he will not bear weight on his foot. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hope some of you have some answers for me.

My son is 8 mo old 32 inches long and weighs 23 pounds. He is to big for the infant car carrier and dont know what car seat to put him in next. I heard that babys need to be in a rear facing car seat unil they are 22 months old.

I am 38 weeks pregnant, at my last appointment a week ago I was 1cm dilated, 90%effaced, soft and up-close. The baby has already dropped and in position. A couple of hours ago me and my hubby done the deed and this time when he came inside of me nothing came back out. Usually it will come right out when I go to the bathroom and wipe. Now I am starting to have contractions about every 10 -15 min. or so. They started out really really soft and now they are getting a little more stronger. Not anything unbearable yet but getting stronger. They havent started coming closer yet though. Does this sound like some braxton hicks or that its the beginning of labor?
oh and the baby is moving fine as well..it hasnt slowed up or anything and also my pelvic bone feels like its broken..is that normal?

Please help! I am the mother of a very strong willed 3 year old. He started Pre-K this fall and seems to be doing really well adjusting to his new school. However, on the weekends he is supposed to complete 2 pages of letter and number tracing and writing. It is not that I am opposed to working with him at home but I havent figure out exactly how to get a 3 year old to sit and do "homework". We sit down on Friday eve. and try to start it, then again on Sat. and Sunday. Each session ends with him being frustrated and irritated because he would rather be playing and me in tears because I feel that I "failed" in teaching him whatever it is that helps children stay focused and want to do well with school work. He is very bright and enjoys school as a whole. He has a wonderfulI memory and can recite various Bible verses, the Pledge, and most of the song "My Country Tis' of Thee". I really feel that he is learning so much, I just dont know what to do about the homework issue. HELP

I had to take my 2 year old to the ER. She needed stitches, she was playing by the door at a cafe and someone walked in and her finger got pinched. It was cut pretty bad and needed stitches. I can't seem to get over the gulit that she got hurt and that I was so close to her!
I turned my back for 2 min. to pay. I keep thinking of all the things I could have done different. How does one deal with the gulit?

I'm 12 weeks pregnant with twins and my lower back hurts so bad I can hardly stand it. I'm overweight and I knew that there would be bachaches but this is worse than I've ever imagined. I can't afford to go to the chiropractor any suggestions of how to safely relieve the pain?

Well, we are pretty sure we're preggy. I have taken at home pregnancy tests and all are postitve. My last period was on Sep. 1st. Normal Period. My question is when do you think my due date is? Im 15 days late and i may have ovulated around sep. 14th or so. give or take...i want to sign up for baby center but i need a due date. doc app. isnt until tuesday. can you help me?

Falsely accused as a drug dealer, child abuser I have not seen my daughter for a year, Accused of offences never committed. The mother of the child has dissconnected the phone recently and moved away to an unknown residence. The police wont help after they contacted the mother and she told them of the accusations.
So she has broken all contact, The mother is very unstable and has resorted to these tactics to rid my daughter of her father. It is my childs right to have me as her father. Why is she not punished for such a horrible offence. Are thre any laws to protect my daughters rights ( without getting to much into detail) there must be a simple solution. I have tried mediation twice, she wont attend.
I call it abduction! kidnapping. Because she is the mother it is okay to do this? If I was to do the same, LOCKUP ???
How do I first find my daughter?
Then how do avoid this psycological abuse of my daughter in future.

My baby is 6 days old. It has been almost 3 days since his last bowel movement. I've been reading books and doing research online, and I keep getting mixed answers. Some say that newborns should have 4 b.m.s a day, while others (WebMD) say that it's normal for them not to have a b.m. for a few days. We have a dr. appt for him tomorrow...but I just want a few more opinions, maybe someone knows what I'm talking about.
