What would other parents recommend. We don't use the car much, mostly on weekends and live in the city. She is tall ,but ways 18lbs and was using the infant car seat till now.

I am almost 20 years old and i am 6 weeks pregnent. My boyfriend and i are working hard to save money for the baby but neither one of us knows how much money we should be saving at least to be in the clear? Any advice would help.

Okay, My daughter celebrates her 5th birthday on the 10th of this month. she has asked us to buy her a range of things, but i am having problems locating one item: nelly kelly shoes, i think that is what they are called. I dont want to ask her for the name again, as she knows that her birthday is in 9 days!!!. where to purchase these things?

What is the accurate scientific name of the tube after the epididymus? A female friend of mine thinks it is the seminal duct, but I think it is spermatic duct because the testicles produce sperm not semen, and if the tube is only transporting sperm then must be spermatic duct. The problem is that different sources on the Internet say different things!!! Who is right and where can I find a reliable and accurate source so I can show to my friend?

my friends sister is annoying and i told my sister about her and my sister went under my name on myspace and sent her a message threating her to beat her up and since it was my name the mom assumed that was me and she told me that i am no longer allowed to talk to my best friend or her daughter or she will call the police and she told me that she printed out that message and she will show it to the police if i ever talk to her or my friend again

Hi, Whenever my son is naked (bathtime, using toilet ect.) he plays with himself (well sort of anyway). During the warmer weather he has been just wearing his shorts (or boxers in the house). When he wears his boxers only he puts his fingers in the hole all of the time

my 1 1/2 year old wont stop screaming at the top of her lungs she will do it for no reason she doesnt want anything she does it just to hear her self spanking's arent working time out's arent working being nice and trying to reson with her arent working what can i do she doesnt talk yet but her few words she says like juice and food so she doesnt talk talk just says one word things heres an example of what she does her juice will be right next to her and she'll scream JUICE REALLY LOUD when theres no need for it its right next to her how can i get her to stop my 2 1/2 year old never did this what wrong or what are my wife and i doing wrong please help

This question is just out of curiousity. I got my son circumcised, because he was my first and I didn't understand much about it (pain, etc.). I have heard some people on here refer to it as torture, a cosmetic procedure, and just really put down parents who do it. But there have been questions about piercing a babys ears, and that is acceptable. What is the difference? They both cause pain, both are not necessary, both are done in many cases for "looks". You can argue that a child who gets its ears pierced as a baby, will not remember the pain, they would probably want it done at an older age anyways so to do it when they are young is better. Well, some can say that a child who is circumcised wont remember the pain later on, so to do it when they are younger is better. My husband and son neither one remember the pain. So why is one horrible and one is accepted? Since technically they both cause unnessisary pain. This question is just for curiosity, so lets all be nice!

My 15 month old has started to become very difficult to feed. She used to eat really well but the last few weeks she hardly eats anything at mealtimes. My period is 5 days late. I went to the doctors about three weeks ago because I wasn't feeling well, the doctor did some blood test which also included a pregnancy test. All the test came back negative. Now I'm confused because now three weeks later I'm 5 days late. I was wondering could I still pregnant and that the blood test just wasn't picking it up yet.

My daughter is 13 and she weighs 144 pounds. She is about 5'5 so she isn't obese by any means but she wears bigger clothes than I do. I was overweight as a child and I don't want her to go through that..she is in softball and cheerleading so she gets excercise. We heard our baby's heart beating for the 1st time on Friday. I know it's an old wive's tale but even the nurse confirmed that baby girls have a much faster heart rate than boys and our baby's was 163 beats per minute which she said was high. Has anyone had an experience that would further confirm or possibly disprove that our baby is a female? Please serious answers ONLY and save the sarcasm! Thanks
