After ovulation, does it go up the closer you get to your expected period? Or does it go down? If you're pregnant, do you even see a change in temp?

If you conceive, your basal body temp will stay elevated. It won't "raise" any higher that it is but will stay quite steady. Also, if you are not pregnant, it will drop right before starting your period.

If you have been taking your basal body temperature, it will remain where it was when you ovulated, as opposed to going back down if the egg is not fertilized.

if you are monitioring your basil body temp, it will stay up if you concieve. it will not raise further up, you just won't see the drop to your normal body temp/

Mine went up about half a degree to one degree. I thought that I had cancer or something until I took the test.
