long time ago i saw a tv show on discovery about the man being the sex determining factor on babies. we want to concieve a boy again. the tv show said that there was a certain percentage of sperm that is male sperm-which is healthier, heavier and therefore slower.

I've been having a lot of nausea and vomiting in my pregnancy and was recently prescribed Zofran to help cope. When I started the meds, I developed these white little bumps on the back of my tongue, it hurts to chew/swallow food, sometimes talk. HAS ANYONE ELSE GOTTEN THESE, COULD THEY BE CAUSED BY THE VOMITING or maybe it's just a reaction to the medicine?

My wife and I are going to be trying for our first child soon.

I want to be there when she takes all her pregnancy tests and goes to the doctor.

I have friends that say they weren't there for the tests and their wives told them in special ways. Like cards, announcements, etc.

Am I weird for wanting to be so involved? I want to find out the moment my wife finds out about the pregnancy!

I work for the department of work and pensions and work the hours 5pm to 9pm. They no longer offer the 9pm finish to any new employees only a 8pm finish. I have been told that if you go on maternity leave they will not allow you back to your 9pm finish and change your contract to 8pm. Can they do that?

I just started taking birth control pills again after being off of them for about 3 years. i just took my 3rd placebo pill last night. i have not started my period yet. is this normal? i am sexually active but have been using protection too! can't be too careful! i don't know if my body is just getting used to the pills again and i will miss a period in the beginning or if i am late due to the possibility of being pregnant--i have not missed a pill. thanks in advance!

Should I just wait a week and then test or sould I test now? I tested 4 days before my period was due and it returned negative, however that was probably too early. Also when you test, should it be done first thing in the morning?

Now that I got your attention, this is the title of the book my friends 7 yr old daughter brought home from school today for homework. I assume naturally they must be talking about a cat. Apparently they both have a problem with heir child reading the book, and think its disgusting. They refused to let her read this book and they have selected another book for her. And wrote a note to take to the teacher with the book. Did they do the right thing? Or should they have not made an issue out of it in front of their daughter?

Ok I have this teacher but shes more like a friend nad i told her about how i feel at home and she was really concerned so she talked to the school counselor. The conselor want to know what i want to happen and she said shes will ing to get me out of my house i wanan go but i cant tell her that i wanna go to my teacher/friends house. waht do i do, heres the story:

Ok My mom adn dad scream at me all the time. They tell me im worthless and that they dont care about me. I feel unloved and unwanted there, and my counselor told me that amazingly this isnt teenage stuff what i explained was worse. She said she wanted to help me, and that se would talk to my parents but I think that that would make it worse, she also asked where id wanan go if she could get me outta the house,i cant tell her i wanan go o my teachers house,i thought that would be to weird but i dont get along with any other family member, My couslelor said it was emotional abuse that i was going through, what do i do????

I'm not trying to compare but my daughter is almost 2 and she hasn't uttered a single comprehensible word yet. Just a lot of baby talk. She's healthy, happy, understands what we're saying to her very well and she can comunicate her needs perfectly. Her doctor says it's ok for bilingual baby not to talk yet but I'm wondering about other bilingual kids.

There is so much about talk about "fertile days", but if you have irregular periods and missed periods, when do fertile days occur,if you miss your period, and it isnt because your pregnant, how the heck do you know when you can get pregnant, can you really only get pregnant on these days, or can it happen anytime of the month?

Sex, cleaning, raspberry leaf tea, walking, bouncing, rocking, rolling ... lol. And I guess he just doesn't want to come out. Have not given myself an enema, I'm on the toilet enough as it is. I am 40 weeks and 3 days today. I have an appointment to be induced next Thursday if this lil guy doesn't make his appearance. This is my third child and I had my other two before their due dates. What is the deal with this lil guy? Is it really so cozy in there, he'd rather stay in there until the medical staff gives him the eviction notice? LOL. Its like hes here although he is still inside. All I have to do is rub my stomach on the side where his back is and behold he wakes up to stretch and move. Almost like hes taken to the uterine environment how he should take to being out already. LOL. Hes a lil fart already. Is there anything else I can do???? Anything safe? I'm not willing to do anything that will put him in jeopardy.
