I started feeding my twins stage 3 around 6 months. But it depends on what kind it is. The fruits and vegetable purees are exactly the same and stage 2. It's the lasagna's and chicken noodles, etc., that have chunks of food in them. I would wait to feed those until around 8 or 9 months.

Stage 3 foods are for suckers IMO. It's a waste of money. It's no different than mashing up the veggies on your plate & feeding it to your baby. My girls were eating that type of food by 7-8 months only because they refused the pureed kind. (I refuse/d to buy jarred food, yuk)

It's normally for 9 months and older. but I started my son on 3's about 8 months. He didn't like him much at first but now he will eat it. But I also started table food also. Once then get the taste of real food they tend not to want jar food much.

Stage 3 is for closer to toddlers like 9-10 months. It is lumpier and has more texture to it. It gets them ready for finger foods. It is also in a bigger jar.

We started our daughter on stage 3's when she was about 8 months old. At first she wouldn't eat much, but now at 9.5 months she gobbles down a whole jar and then some!

my daughter is 11 mos old and started eating some of them around 8-9 mos. She recently started getting teeth, so we have started on the lumpier foods (pastas, meat/veggie dinners, etc)

We started my son on stage three...recently because stage two wasn't filling him up. He is six months...your daughter will let you know when she's ready!
