*nods* It's common. You are supposed to shed at least 100 to 1,000 hairs a day anyways but when you get pregnant your horomones put a damper on the shedding of your hair which is probably why you hair feels it's thickest while pregnant. Then after your baby is born you shed those hairs you didn't while pregnant. That is why it looks or feels like your hair is falling out. But not to worry. Like one of the other answerers said. It'll be back to normal in no time. *smiles*

Hey girl, I would just like to add another yes onto the other yes's on here, I too am still losing hair from my previous baby and at first I was so scared cause I thought it was cause of stress but then i asked around and they said it was normal! I was freaking out when i would run my fingers through my hair and globs would come out! AHH! lol dont worry it will grow back, although that is the ugly part cause when u go to straighten your hair you have all the little hairs sticking out cause they are so small! lol Good Luck!

Some people lose clumps of hair after birth and some just thin out a little. It's normal. If you want to help yourself with it a little ask your dr if you can stay on the prenatal vitamins a month or so. If not, then ask him what daily multivitamin would be ok especially if your breast feeding.

My hair was coming out all over the place but it will stop soon, and grow back at the front giving you a little fringe that you have to spend ages growing out!

Yes.
Our tub looked like Cousin It bathed in it for a long time after each of our kids were born. I was shocked after our first because no one had warned me about that.
