We were having sex without a condom and lets see.. we were having oral sex for about 30 minutes and than she got on top of me and my thing was inside her for like 20 seconds than i decided to stop in fear of her getting pregnant. im a little worried but not really. Im pretty sure i was dry from all the oral sex . what do you think the chances of her being pregnant are since we only did it that way for about 20 seconds? dont give me any stupid comments.. im askin for the chances of her being pregnant just incase she might wanna take a morning after pill.. thanks

I'm pregnant and hoping for a girl. If we have a girl I want to name her Kirsten. I always thought that Kirsten was pronounced "KEER-sten. But now, some of my friends are saying it is pronounced "KUR-sten." I have never heard Kirsten pronounced that way, and I hate the way it sounds. I much prefer "KEER-sten." Which way is correct?

My stepson just gave me and my husband a note from one of his teachers that he had failed to turn in homework 2 days last week and she was giving him afterschool detention on Monday. The letter basically doesn't give us a choice, it just says to pick him up at 3:45. My husband is a truck driver and is not even in the county during the day. I work about and hour away from the school and I can not at this short notice take off work early to pick him up. That is why he rides the bus to a neighbors house. What I want to know is if this is usually a mandatory thing that parents have no say so on? When I was in school, we didn't have after school detention. It was done during school, like during recess or free period. I have typed up a letter telling the teacher that we can not pick him up Monday. Should we try to call her tonight to discuse this? That is if we can find her phone number.

I have a 2 yr old, he goes to a large daycare where all the providers are certified, etc. I have asked one of the teachers if she would be interested in doing some babysitting on the side and she said yes. I did check w/the daycare first to be sure this was okay w/them, they said its fine. Anyway, this is my total first go-around with a babysitter and I don't know what the usual rate of pay is. I don't need to (interrogate) interview her as I already know she is able to provide child care but what should I know before I have my first formal conversation with her about officially starting w/her. I have only one child, he's two, she (babysitter) is probably 18ish, she will be traveling to my house in her vehicle, etc. Should I take this into consideration when I pay her? I don't THINK she would be chatting on the phone, inviting friends over, etc and should I bring these things up before she works for me or only in the event it becomes a problem. I like to be thorough up front.

Hi we have a 14m/o and miss having a dog around. I have been doing a lot of research on the subject and know most dogs are great with kids as long as they are socialized with them. We had two (a chihuahua and a pitbull what a pair :) I had a lot of comlications during my pregnancy so my mom took my guys in and now they are all so attached that we decided they should stay over there. My daughter loves to go and see the puppies as often as we can. I always had a dog when I was growing up and want my daughter to experience that also. Just curious about anyones personal experiences on this subject. Thanks to everyone who answers seriously!

I found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant & I'm gonna tell my boyfriend tonight. We've been together for 2 years but in april we broke up 4 a couple of months. Well the first part of July he came 2 me & told me how much he loves me & misses me & wants 2 b with me. We talked & decided 2 try things again on a month trial. Well that month was up 2 weeks ago & we still haven't talked. I tried 2 weeks ago & he was 2 tired 2 talk then last weekend I was sick. Because we live in different towns we only spend 1 or 2 nights together. I've been trying 2 get him here all week but he's been busy. Well last night I put my foot down & told him that it was essential he come down tonight. That we had put the talk off long enough & had make enough exucses that we HAD 2 talk. Did I give him the idea that I want 2 end it? Cause today my sister saw him &they were talking & he told her that he would be here 4 awhile tonight but didn't think he'd b spending the night cause he was plannin on givin me the boot.

Hi, I have a 141/2 month old little girl. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for some different snacks or meals? It seems as if I fix her the same few things. She isnt really a picky eater we seem to eat a lot of chicken nuggets, she loves broccoli, and bananas. TI seems like we just eat the standards: gram crackers, yogurt, grilled cheeses etc. What do ya'll feed your kids? I dont have a lot of time to fix home cooked meals all the time (who does right)!
